Easy to install and it is very quiet. Not as heavy as the previous one.

This AC Unit, was at an exceptional price & works better then expected.

I have this out in my garage/shop. I can see that I will need to keep the fine dust out of this, but the filter is very easy to access. Nice to finally have an AC with a remote, too. The unit it replaces is the same brand and cooling BTUs, but the old one put out more *raw* coldness. I'm still trying to find the balance between the normal and economy settings - maybe that is it

Got these two Frigidaire AC's to replace older units. They are well built and the remote controls are a nice feature. If there is any complaint, I would like to see the insulating side panels made a little taller so they cover the height of the expandable side panels, not just the accordion pleats.

It cools my 3 rooms fairly quick. Not as noisy as other air conditioners.

I bought this AC because it was the highest BTU'S that I could get and still have it weigh in the 70 pound range. All of the units that were 15,000 or more BTU's weighed 100 pounds or more. Since I knew it would just be me installing the AC, weight was an issue. I bought this AC to cool a open area encompassing an approximately 24 x 24 living room - dining room- kitchen area. I have been very pleased with the AC. It is rated for a room this size and does a great job keeping it cool. It also has some nice features such as the ability to let it "Sleep" for several hours, and then come on via a timer. This is great for saving money overnight and while I am at work while still allowing it to be cool when I get home. It also has an "energy Saver" feature wherein the AC shuts off on it's own when it gets to the set temperature. I have no idea about the durability or how long the device will last as I have just purchased it but I have been very pleased with the performance, weight and features of the device. Lastly, I framed mine in with wood but it seemed to come with adequate installation hardware including some thick white, insulated, panels which could be useful. Overall, I am pleased with the product. It cools as promised.
