    My portable room air conditioner died, and I replaced it with this. While it has the same BTU rating, it is much better at cooling the room, and the power draw is clearly less. My old unit would trip the circuit breaker if anything else was on it. This one has no problem cooling the room, with no special circuit. Thank you.

    Largest one that would fit my window but is probably too small for my open kitchen/dining/living area. I gave it 4 stars only because it doesn't get cold, it cools the space. Not sure if thats because of the openness of the space or the unit but all in all would recommend for a space on the small end of their recommended cooling size

    Got this A/C to replace an older one. It does cool very well for what I need, however it is much noisier than other units. It is in the same room as our TV and have to raise the volume up quite a bit to hear it over the noise. Other than that it does a great job.

    I love the remote sense function so that the AC doesn't turn off when its own local thermostat reaches the set point but rather than the remote's thermostat set point. Installation was simple. My only complaint was the the machine can get very loud but nowhere near the noise of a portable AC.

    We purchased. The 8,000 btu ac and it didnt cool our space. This cools a 12'x23' room with. 12' ceilings. And adjoining. 12'x12' kitchen and hallway. Would purchase. Again
