You know this unit does a good job when: a) Your wife doesn't complain the bedroom is hot and humind and b) the room is cold enough to serve as a meat locker. :)

with a good review, i ordered this ac and it arrived as crushed at the left of the back. it seams look ok operating, but i didnt want to use it though since it might cause the problem later. so i wanted to exchange instead of getting 10% of discount on defective item and finally the best buy sent a new one. and it was worse than the previous one. and the funny part ; same crushed area. and this time coil looks worse than that. i needed to use ac asap so iam just keeping the previous one. thanks to god i missed the pick up attempt on the previous package. hopely it works good as review.

Our window air conditioner finally died. We comparison shopped and found this was the perfect replacement. We've had it three weeks now and thoroughly enjoying the cool air as hot temps have come to Alabama.

Frigidaire - 12,000 BTU Window Air Conditioner - White is an excellent air conditioner. I now have three of them for different parts of the house. Just the right size for a large room or small apartment!

a/c unit is working well and I like the full front width of air inlet/outlet, not interrupted by a control panel. remote works well cools additional rooms with added box fan to move air to adjoining rooms.

very pleased... runs reasonably quiet, pushes plenty of cold air even on the low setting. Much lighter to lift and install then the old bomber I took out. Very good value, I hope it holds up long term.

This unit installed easily and did a terrific job cooling an entire apartment. After 2 days condensation started to build up in the control panel. By day 4 the unit shut off and refused to start. Called Fridgidare and the operator tried to blame the issue on my outlet. Returned to Best Buy and got a refund. Outlet is currently working with another AC unit.

This is a decent air conditioner but it could be better. The unit comes with the standard accordion sides and a nice insulation panel that you cut to fit. Some issues I had with my unit is that there are gaps where can see outside near where the accordion meets the AC housing (bugs can enter). The plastic vents shine light from outside and are pretty thin (not efficient). I oversized the unit I needed by roughly 100 square feet per BTU calculations and it struggles to cool the room in a timely manner. It works, but has to work hard.

Luckily we are using it in the living room so it's not that big of a deal. However, if it were used in a bedroom it would be very bothersome.

This air conditioner is great get the job done I am well please.

Looks good, like additional insulation supplied by manufacturer, easy to install, ease of use, just needs to live up to it's claim on cooling area

This AC is a good one with a clean air features for pollen. There's not a lot to talk about. The only thing I don't get is the remote sensing probably in a month of use I'll see

I bought this AC in a memorial day sale.I was confused that my decision will be work or not.but i must say this AC is very good purchase.

This air conditioner is louder then my expectations before buying it. Cooling is just ok, expected better but does the basic work.

I read the reviews and this ac is as good as the reviews. It was very easy to install and works great. Not really that noisy based on some reviews. Can't beat the price.

This AC works okay, gets the room cold, wish it was more powerful. For some strange reason the clean filter timer went off rather quickly, about after a week of use.

Cools good, however when put on energy saver it will run for a couple of minutes then shut off and will not come back on.

My living room is a decent size living room so the least amount of voltage I could get is 10,000. So we bought a 12,000 voltage and does wonders!

Cools down my dinning, sitting and kitchen to a comfortable temperature. Around 78. We really like the timer. Can set it so that its cool when we arrive home

Purchased this as an emergency buy because my unit in my rental space broke suddenly. Very efficient and works well and the added remote is a plus.
