Got two of these for my kids rooms anticipating a hot summer. So far they have done a great job keeping their rooms cool. They are fairly quiet too!

I have this AC in my bedroom. I set it on Econ and auto and it's similar to having central air. It only comes on when it needs to and I love that.

Able to cool my small bedroom (approx. 200 square feet) on the low or energy saver setting which makes the noise low.

Easy to setup and cools really quickly....I live in a 1bd in newyork and it cools my whole apartment!!! I love it!!!

Set this up in my bedroom. It blew cold air. The only thing was that it made a screeching sound that went with the speed of the fan. On low it seemed loudest, and on high not as loud but at night the high fan setting was too loud. So I returned it after a few days. I did not buy another. I will when it's on sale again. Otherwise i would have kept it if it wasn't for the noise. I'm sure it was just the one I got and not something common that happens to all of these units.

Works as a supplemental unit to an upstairs bedroom and it cools the space quickly and is relatively quiet. Would definitely recommend.

This unit is working really well for my apartment. I have a small living room hallway and kitchen area where i installed this unit to cool off. I like my living space cold so i have it set to 68 degrees and it keeps it cool with no problems. The unit is not overly loud and does not bother me. As to when I am watching TV I've noticed I only needed to increase the volume up by two to compensate for the AC. I would definitely recommend for anyone looking to buy a great AC that is not overly loud and does not break the bank.

Simple to install and cools room great, was able to use leftover insulators from the 8000 to seal the sides as well

Perfect to keep our kids room cool. Very easy to setup and install. It isn't loud like most a/c units. Definitely happy with this purchase.

My grandson who is 15 installed it in less than 30 minutes. It is quiet and cools my livingroo beautifully..

Don't underestimate this unit it's very good even for a 6,000 btu but awesome works perfect for a office in my home and priced very very well

I just needed an air conditioner to cool my bedroom while I was sleeping and I am veery satisfied with this. It runs efficiently and quietly.

We purchased 3 of these units to cool 3 bedrooms, all about 120SF - 160SF. In general, the units kept the rooms cool providing the bedroom doors were kept closed. Installation wasn't difficult but we had to remove the lower half of our double hung windows and then lower the top half to keep the unit in place. As a result, we had to find something to stuff in the gap at the top to keep the cool air in. All in all, a decent unit for the money.

This was the perfect size for my room. It was a little loud though but cools down the room sufficiently

Good product. Keeps our room cool during a very hot day outside. The only complain I have is , it makes noise sometimes which bothers me.

I have a 8k btu in living living room and this is the second one I purchased for my bedroom and it is perfect. Easy to operate.

WE HAVE HAD THIS FOR A COUPLE YEARS AND IT STILL WORKS WELL. CAN HARDLY HEAR IT . COOL AIR WHEN YOU NEED IT

this is a great air conditioner. love the remote control. also love the digital display. temp settings. cools room well. good value.

Perfect for large bedroom. Remote control is nice addition. Timer and temperature control is awesome feature. Definitely recommend.

This is a great, energy efficient window air unit. Low price but delivers a great amount of cooling without a lot of noise.
