Don't use the econ mode. First night I tried that I was woken up every 10 mins the entire night. I use this in a 12x11 bedroom because central air doesn't reach it well. It does cool, bit I keep it a few degrees lower than I desire because my ecobee sensors read the room temp a few degrees higher than what I program this for. It's noisier than I expected - this is probably on me as I only have had central air. It's a great value, however, and my energy bill actually decreased bc I can keep the realsy of the house warmer at night. But being a light sleeper, I would next opt for the most quiet unit available.

This air conditioner was easy to install and delivered exactly what we were looking for...a good air conditioner that cools the room quickly with a remote control.

I use this for my son's room. It is about 14' x 14' and this keeps it cold during the summer. It was simple to install, but I do always have a fear that I'm going to drop the thing out of the window.

Very easy to install into any window... Lightweight and comes with the hardware needed... Cools very well and easy to use remote for temps and modes...

No complaints.Only wish it were energy star rated. But, it's quiet and so far works fine. We bought 3 of them within this past year! And the price was right.

I bought this AC for my room and it was a great investment. It cools off mines and my daughters room if the door is left open. It's small and packs alot of power

Bought this for our bedroom. It keeps room very cool and it cools it very quick. Doesn't need to b on all night. It's also quieter than I thought but love the noise to sleep! Great buy!!

This unit cools a very large bedroom with an open office area attached with no problem. I like having the remote and being able to turn it on econ mode or auto fan for at night. Very good product!

This AC cools off my 17' by 12' bedroom very well (in about 15-20 mins) but it is very noisy so it was not the best choice for this room. The features are great, like the smart remote temperature connection that allows you to put the remote in the farthest location from the AC and have the AC cool the room completely. The timer feature is also great where you can set the time for the AC to come on and begin cooling your room before you get there and set the time for it to turn off. If it weren't so noisy (in comparison to the LG 8kBTU that I have in the other bedroom), I would give it 5 stars.

This is the first window AC unit I've owned, so I can't compare to others. However, I'm very happy with this purchased. The AC cools my bedroom well. The eco option isn't my favorite setting. When I use the eco option the bedroom gets too hot between cycles. And I find myself adjusting my TV volume each time it switches on or off. I normally use the cool option. That's the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5. It's a great product it cools the room just fine. My favorite temp setting is 63° It comes with a small remote. I am a happy buyer of this product.

Really love this air conditioner. Have a medium size room and it cools perfectly. Love the fact that it shuts off when room is cool and also the noise it makes when on is not unbearable

This was a great air conditioner. It got the job done quickly, and it was relatively quiet. This was used to cool a small room.

For the price it is worth it. It gets the job done.....for a small LA studio apartment it is acceptable.

Easy to install, no help needed, cools room down very quickly, pay attention to info on box as to what size room it cools and you cant go wrong.

The weather turned really hot and the air conditioner cooled the bed room in a short amount of time. It's great to have a remote control too!!

I like this air conditioner for a small space. It works perfectly for the kitchen area and the remote is very helpful as always. It is not too loud. I would recommend this product.

I bought this about a month ago and have had it on ever since. It has purred away providing AC or just circulating air with the fan. Fan only is very quiet and when the compressor kicks on it is not bad at all. There are a number of different settings to choose from including 'auto' and 'eco' (economy), 'sleep' etc, plus I think it is an attractive looking, aesthetically pleasing unit. The remote is easy to use and despite thinking it was a completely useless item, I use it all the time so I don't have to take 5 extra steps and climb around/over my bed. I give this unit high marks and recommend strongly for all.

great unit.. it cold off the bedroom easily and even the rest of the house when bedroom door left open.. works great and the remote is awesome

I bought this unit to replace an older unit. It was easy to install and worked very well during those hot days in the summer. It kept my room nice and cool.

I have a game room that this size ac works great in. The auto on/off energy saving feature, to maintain temperature, removes any worry about wasting electricity.
