We've had this dehumidifier for a few months and it works great! I never realized how badly we needed it until we got it! Wish we would have purchased sooner.

This thing is a work horse! I change the tank at least twice a day for a relatively small basement. The area is some much more livable now! Great product!

As stated in the headline, this unit is very quiet given its size. The fan is quite powerful I can feel the air circulating from a good 12 feet away. I do wish it came with a larger bucket, I have to empty this one about every 12 hours. But in all fairness you can also route it to a drain if that can work for you. I would highly recommend it.

It works verygood .just plug and play and very quiet and everyday i am emptying bucket full of water and maintains humidity in my basement

This dehumidifier works wonderfully well at removing the humidity and smell from our basement.. We also like the digital readouts on it.

This dehumidifier has 3 fan settings and the fan turns off when the humidity level is reached. It does a good job of taking moisture out of my basement.

Have used in a 700 sq ft apartment & smaller area to suck humidity & mold spores out of the rooms. Works great if used properly- read the directions!

This dehumidifier is awesome!!! I only wish I'd purchased one years ago! My allergies have reached a peak recently, and this dehumidifier helps tremendously. There are a couple of minor details in its design that I've written to the manufacture about --- requesting bigger, better castors, so that the unit can be moved more easily over carpet; better grips on the filter, for easier removal for weekly cleaning; hinged cover to the bucket, for easier weekly sanitation... But, it functions beautifully, and has helped me tremendously! Thank you. Best regards,

Best dehumidifier ever, quiet, efficient, easy to set up.

Replaced an older frigidair unit that died... Seems to run less, is quieter & doesn’t put off nearly as much heat as the old unit.

The directions are clear and it works better than expected. This new dehumidifier leaves us with one less thing to cause trouble.

This unit replaced an old dehumidifier. After running a while it senses the appropriate humidity level and self-adjusts to the humidity level of the room. The collection bin is not as big as I thought, although it holds a large quantity of water. The attached handle makes emptying easy, and without spilling water on floor. Waiting to see my 1st electric bill with this dehumidifier.

This is my second dehumidifier in my basement and this one has an easy pop up handle that makes it even easier to empty when the bucket is full.

This dehumidifier works much better than my old model. It actually removed the musty odor in one day and lowered the basment humidity by 20%.

We purchased this dehumidifier after our last one was recalled. The price was good. My only complaint is that the water container does not slide in easily.

Purchased the humidifier to keep moisture levels normal in attic storage area. Unit has performed very well since purchase.

I bought this to replace a 6 year old version of the same thing that I had previously bought at Best Buy. For some reason the old one would not discharge the water into a hose to go down the drain. It would only discharge into the bucked which needed changing daily. I opted for the 70 gallon version this time rather than the old 50 gallon version. This works efficiently and is easy to set up and use. I would highly recommend it. I did buy the extended warranty because these dehumidifiers tend not to last too long.

This unit is quieter than my prior Frigidaire model which melted in an electrical fire (due to a faulty thermostat/heater) after 2 years. My prior unit was NOT subject to the CPSC recall, although it suffered from the same defect. Almost every brand of de-humidifier is made by the same Chinese company. So, you pick the one with the best features and install a smoke detector, keep a fire extinguisher handy, remain vigilant, and don't leave your home unattended.
