We bought this to remove excess moisture in our home. So far it has worked great.

This dehumidifier works extremely well especially in the humid Florida weather.

After a couple of months of usage, we're still very happy with this dehumidifier. We have it in the game room in the basement. Approx 850 square feet per level. We spend a lot of time downstairs as the tv is in the game room, and our office is in an adjoining room. It's made a significant difference in livability in the entire house. We have an open staircase to the upstairs. We leave it set to 55% and that seems to work well. When I set it to 50%, it ran significantly more, not just a little more. We have to empty the bucket every other day. The bucket is easy to use/empty. We may move it into the room behind the office where we can put a hose on it for draining, but it's working well enough where it is, it's not a priority. Haven't really seen a difference in the electric bill, and I am looking. Part of that could be that we run the ac a bit higher now as the air in the entire house is dryer. Would buy again.

Dehumidifier is working great. Runs very quietly. Have it draining into a floor drain, so never have to empty the bucket.

I live in an area that has high humidity and was noticing some not so pleasant smells in my house. Did some research online, and the Frigidaire seemed to be the best one. Looked around at different sites for the best price and finally found it at Best Buy. Never before having used one, was not sure what to expect, but the over all setup was super easy. Although you might read some other reviews saying the unit is quiet, it is not the most silent one, but figured it really could not since it has to run several parts to be able to remove the humidity from the house. Love the different settings allowing the user to set the humidity level. If you live in an area of high humidity this will be a great unit to have.

Yes I got the humidifier to help dry my basement out after A heavy rain Caused water to enter my basement. This thing was a beast in under 24 hours wet carpet wet padding dried out completely. So far this unit has kept my basement nice and dry!

My wife and I have been running this dehumidifier for one month now. It has replaced an LG that was a few years old. This dehumidifier does not heat our basement like the LG did. It does warm the air slightly but not in a bad way. There is less noise and probably greater air flow. If you're sitting near the dehumidifier you can feel the air. The only issue we have is that there is mold that began to appear in the bottom of the basin almost right away. We noticed it a couple of weeks after buying the dehumidifier. The manual recommends warm water and some detergent to clean the basin. It didn't seem to work so we tried one part bleach to about 8-10 parts water. We shook it and let it sit. It seemed to remove the mold spots. We are still concerned about these mold spots and hope that they will not be returning.

The timer took a bit to figure out but it works great and does a great job in our basement.

Purchased 2, one for each basement . Takes the humidity out of both areas.

Quiet. Set up easy. Bucket for water seems smaller than prior unit. Overall quality is good. Bucket is a bit difficult to get back in once water is emptied. Purchased because of other reviews and product rating. Pleased with the product so I also purchased same unit for my son.

My dehumidifier died after about 10 years, so I was in the market and stumbled across this one while at a local Best Buy. The salesman did a great job explaining its features and I was out the door with it. I've had it for about a month and it functions well. Noise is average for a dehumidifier. It does have a hookup for a standard garden hose, but a hose is not included.

After reading many independent reviews, we decided to buy the Frigidaire dehumidifier. We have had this unit for about 3 weeks. House is 2000 sq. ft. Humidity was running 50-80%, but generally in the 65-70% range. After running this for a few days we are now able to maintain humidity levels in the house at about 45%. It is a bit noisy but very tolerable. We do not run it at night. I like that the air filter is on the back side of the unit so it can be removed for cleaning without having to remove the water bucket. We only have to empty the water bucket once per day. One review mentioned the reading on the humidity gauge tends to be off about 10% (if set at 40%, actual would be about 44%). This is in line with what we saw with our separate humidity gauge. We set the unit at 40% and are able to maintain humidity levels in the 42-47% range.

I bought some other brands dehumidifiers. They did not last long and most of them stopped working within a year or two. This Frigidaire model has low noise, runs smoothly and efficiently. I have used it for about two months. No problems at all.

It works well, looks good in white, quiet, easy to empty. Have it running non stop in my semi furnished basement. I do not have a drain near by so I manually empty it 2-3 times a day. Who knew there was so much water in the air.
