works great. my home was 70-78% humidity. within two days my humidity dropped to 50%. i connected the hose to drain directly into my sump pump, so no need to empty the tank. set to 50% so it kicks on when it needs to.

easy set up, easy controls, trouble free operation and very minimal maintance

We got this unit about a month ago. It is so much quieter than the unit we had before, even when the compressor kicks on. It shuts off (fan included) when your desired humidity is reached. Very happy with this purchase.

I'm in Oklahoma and we have very hot and muggy summers, this unit is down in my basement. It is one big room that is at least 30ft x 40ft with 8ft ceiling. This thing has been running almost non stop since I bought it. I am very pleased with how well it works. The difference in the smell of the basement is amazing, and my ac unit actually runs less and I can keep it at a higher temp than before. If anything, my basement is too big for the unit and I have been considering buying another to run on the opposite side. Only time will tell how well it holds up. Appliances are made so cheaply now days, and so many fail in short periods of time compared to our parents and grandparents appliances. Hopefully it will last at least 5 summers, but like I said, only time will tell on the well designed/built/longevity aspect of it.

I bought this unit to remove moisture from my home. I have the humidity level set at 55% and empty the drain bucket every other day. I have only owned for a short time but so far it works as advertised. Great unit!

Product worked great, would def Buy again and price was good.

Dehumidifier runs quietly and works efficiently. A little difficult to get the bucket out to empty but we plan to use the included adapter and hookup a hose to the drain. In the meantime great water supply for watering plants.

After my basement flooded, I needed to get a dehumidifier to help remove moisture once the water was cleaned up. This machine was removing about 70 pints every 12 hours for 3 days. Since the machine stops automatically when full, I had to constantly go downstairs to check the unit. However the unit was very easy to dump the water from and removal of the bucket was a breeze. Once I added a hose to allow for continuous use, the basement was as good as new. My only complaint is that no hose for continual water removal was included. I had to go out and buy a short garden hose. It would have been nice to have a lightweight plastic hose included, maybe one that could be cut to length. Except for not having a hose, the unit is fantastic. I highly recommend this product

This dehumidifier is awesome! Glad I bought this unit based on the overwhelming reviews that indicated this is the “go to” brand and model to go with. Simple setup and great performance. Way to go, Frigidaire!

Quiet operation and great at holding basement humidity at set level. Holding capacity could have been larger but weight could have been an issue. Well worth the price. Still too early to determine impact on electric usage.

Don't be confused by the pint values. The 70 pint is not the capacity of water it can hold, but rather the amount of water it can remove from the air in 24 hours. Higher ratings mean greater efficiency and therefore shorter run times. So while the higher units cost more and can have greater energy usage, it makes up for it by efficiency and shorter run time. The costs will even out in the long term.

sucks water out of the air so well I recommend using a hose to drain it

I have it in my basement. not as damp down there anymore. the warm air that it puts off helps too

Better than other brands, not as quiet as my colleagues old dehumidifier. Hard to find this unit.
