Talk about a workhorse. This machine does a wonderful job pulling the moisture from the air. The previous brand of choice was Sears. Unfortunately, their models have been cheaply made, noisy and don't last. The first 24 hours dried out the air to the point that the house windows stopped sweating. The bathroom toilet tanks also stopped sweating. This never happened with the Sears models. I am so pleased with this machine, I will buy another one for my shop. This will give me a chance to test the low temp performance. The only question at this point is, will the machine last?

This dries out my basement nicely and has an easy tap out to a floor drain. Only downside is that it heats up the basement, but not much you can about that. I'd rather have a warm basement than a humid one.

This is by far the best Dehumidifier I have never owned. It is easy to setup and use. Set it to the desired Humidity % and watch it go. Plan on emptying the bucket at least once a day until your humidity is under control. Highly Recommended.

This dehumidifier is quieter and more efficient than previous dehumidifiers I had in the past. I am pleased with this purchase.

Currently using in newly finished basement. Works very well and is relatively quiet. Has nice controls for humidity and power settings.

I purchased this unit after my GE stopped working after only 14 months. I did some research and this one had favorable reviews. It has been about 7 months and it is doing well. The 70-Pint size seems to be the best option for actually removing a decent amout of moisture out of any basement. Like any of these new foreign -made appliances, the true test will be it's longevity. Keeping my fingers crossed and am hoping that my decision to not purchase the extended warranty through Best Buy was the right call. As a rule, I usually never buy extended warranties, but dehumidfiers may need to be the exceptions to my rule.

We have owned several dehumidifiers, but this is our first Frigidaire. Our 70-pint model works quietly and efficiently. Best we have ever owned and we would buy it again. Spend the extra few dollars for a Frigidaire. You will not be sorry.

I bought this in 2016. Works quickly an relatively quietly. It does the job quickly enough that it doesn't heat the room.

We have this running in our basement all of the time and it doesn't amazing job of keeping the basement to dry. Very quiet and energy efficient !

I have owned this humidifier for a little better than a month now. I have used the manual drain system which is not difficult to use but I have since then hooked it up to a drain with the supplied fitting which is much easier. You do have to purchase your own hose. We live at the coast so humidity is definitely an issue. It runs smooth and quiet. It's doing a very good job of removing the moisture and with the moisture leaving it also smells more pleasant. I use it in my garage/shop that measures about 20 x 24. So far so good.

This dehumidifier is relatively quiet, the humidistat is very accurate and it does the job nicely. The drain pan is a bit small but that's a minor issue. The unit can be hooked up to a permanent drain to avoid having to empty it . The unit can be set to constant on or to run only when needed. The fan will turn on to sense the humidity, then cycle the compressor on if dehumidifying is needed. Very happy with it so far (6 weeks). Hopefully it will last for many years. It cost a bit more than some competing units but it appears to be a quality product. Time will tell.

We put this in our crawl space and it is doing a great job keeping the moisture down especially after the rainy summer we've had. Our family room is right above where it sits and you can barely hear it running when the TV is off and there are no other sounds.

Outstanding unit..Very very quiet.Basement was very humid at 65%. Within 2.5 hours humidity was down to 45% and still going down. A must buy!!

This unit is working as expected, our finished cellar is staying dry. The unit started up easily and continues to function quietly and well.

I needed to acquire a new dehumidifier and after doing much research, I opted for this one. I am very pleased with it and am so glad that I got it when I did. It is definitely making a difference in the air quality in our basement.

I'll never know how on earth my mother's basement got to a 70% humidity level, but it did. What's no surprise, is that it was time to get a dehumidifier. I'm talking bordering on squishy carpet, UGH. In between my gagging, I looked to Bestbuy.com to find out what her options were. Turns out, a lot of people must be having their own debate as to whether they live in the U.S. or in some tropical rainforest, as this appeared to be the only model available for pickup that day -- oh, well, I'll take it!! Mom and I rushed there and bought it. This sucker cleared out our muggy basement in a few days flat!! Holey Moley this sucker is awesome! The collection tray is easy to access, but if you prefer, you can route the water out a window or perhaps into your drain using the included hose. What I like most about this unit, besides its efficiency, is that you can program it to a specific humidity level. This dehumidifier will work until it reaches that level, then shut off, when it detects humidity rising beyond the level you have set, it kicks back on and gets to work clearing the air! I can't imaging all the things that can fester in a humid basement and I don't want to. My mother doesn't find this model noisy or annoying at all, as I see some people report -- granted, it is kept on the complete opposite side of the basement from her bedroom. All in all, just don't run it on high I suppose if you don't want some noise. Anyhow, embrace drier air, and healthier breathing with this Frigidaire!!!

It is not too loud....really gets the moisture out.....holds alot of water before u have to empty it .highly recommended....

Bought this to replace an exiting dehumidifier that was no longer up to the task. Great pricing (Best Buy beat Amazon pricing!), easy set-up. Best of all, we once again have a dry basement.

This is the best dehumidifier I've ever had. Very quiet and does an excellent job. Also love that it shows the humidity level.
