This humidifier replaced one that quit working at a certain temperature so was not effective in the cool basement. The staff member who helped us in the selecting of the model was very helpful. The price was somewhat higher than expected but it is very efficient in extracting moisture so worth it.

I found my dehumidifier was easy to install and now that I've been using it for several weeks I am satisfied with the way it is working. The first week I was using it I was emptying the reservoir twice a day. When I connected the hose attachment I was surprised how easy this procedure was. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Found the reviews to be right on. In approximately 24 hours, dehumidifier had removed the moisture and smell from my basement. It ran continuously for a total of three days before the machine start its on, off cycle. I connected it to a small pump, empties into the washer drain. Very happy with this purchase.

This dehumidifier is great! Fan is very quiet on the low and medium settings and is not too loud on the higher setting either.

does a good job of removing humidity from the basement. The optional hose allows water to drain without constantly having to empty. This is my third unit. The previous two died after about 11 months. Luckily, the manufacturer stood behind the product and provided me with free replacements.

Has performed well and reliably for a month full time, filling tank in about 10 hours. Need to rig hose option. Asking it to improve double the space it is rated for and it soldiers on fine, dropping large basement as much as needed. Considering getting a 2nd one to help with load and reserve capacity when really humid.

Read plenty of reviews before purchasing. They are all accurate. This thing is quiet. I use it in the basement, and I don't hear it when I'm upstairs. All you hear, when you stand next to it, is the air moving from the fan blower. I'm surprised how much humidity is in the air. I need to empty the tank daily.

This unit has been operating for about a month now in a fairly damp basement environment. It is doing a much better job than the 40 pint Maytag used previously. It is much quieter, cycles on and off less often, and does not dim the lights when it turns on, like the old one did. The basement is now dryer and warmer.

I have had it for 2 weeks, so far so good. It would be great if the air blowing direction can be changed. (right side now).

I have bought a new dehumidifier every two years for the past 10 years. I'm sick of buying dehumidifiers and none seem to last for me. This one works really well, we will see what the longevity of it will be. I did buy the four year warranty so I guess I know I will not be paying out of pocket for four years now.

Very solid performance by this dehumidifier -- it has been running since I purchased it. Comfortable in recommending this product. This unit replaced a smaller unit by the same manufacturer that I had for 8-10 years. I consider this purchase a good decision and well worth every dollar spent.

This thing keeps our basement feeling like a desert, if we wanted to. We do that because spiders HATE low moisture environments (less than 50% humidity and they can barely survive). This device, we have to empty it about every 36 hours. And it keeps our basement around 35% humidity year round. Amazing.

Our old dehumidifier hit the dust. From reccomendations online decided to get this one. Works very well. Would give it a 5 but noisier then expected.

I was looking for a dehumidifier that would be quieter, and easier to dump water from than the others I have had in the past. This was the best choice I could have made! I love the digital read control and easily removed water receptacle. It exceeded my hopes and expectations. Would recommend.

The dehumidifer has performed very well. It has been able to keep my 2 car uninsulated garage at 60% humidity during very warm humid days. It very quickly brought the humidity down from 75%-80% to my initial 55% setting. The unit run time is surprisingly short. Very please with this product.

I have had frigidaire dehumidifiers in the past. This one is just as good as the others I have had.
