Our basement has had high humidity for some time. Our fluorescent lights wouldn’t work half the time. Within hours of plugging this unit in, humidity levels had dropped and it actually felt warmer. And our lights are now working as they should!!

As a replacement for an older dehumidifier, this one is much quieter and does an excellent job of keeping our basement dry. It took a little experimenting to figure best way to reinstall the bucket. Emptying the bucket requires caution to keep from spilling.

The unit is very effective in reducing moisture. Controls are straight forward.

After reviewing multiple dehumidifiers on different websites, I decided to buy this one. The reviews sounded good and almost all websites rated it near the top. Good value for money spent. We have been happy with this model. Works very well, easy to use.

Works great. Cycles on and off, unlike my old one that ran constantly and kicked up my electric bill. Relatively quiet for its size. Keeps my basement comfortable and really helps it smell fresher. I have it draining with a hose. Great buy!

Just moved into a new house and was told I should get a dehumidifier for the basement. Researched for a while and found this. Has been working great and keeps a constant humidity level. Set it up to drain straight into my sump pump pit. So far it's been great.

The dehumidifier is great. Little noise and fills up fast. Unfortunately the sales person was not knowledgeable about the service agreement that was sold along with it. We had to wait until we were home and look it up online, which was cumbersome to navigate to the correct area and then we found out it was a "lemon" replacement plan that required the EXACT same thing to be wrong with it 3 times before it was replaced instead of the replacement plan he promised us. The sales people need to have access to the guarantees and service plans before the sale. Trusting the sales person was a mistake.

I run a dehumidifier in my basement quite a bit. It's not a super wet basement but has just enough dampness to require the mechanical assist. This Frigidaire 70 pint has been smooth running, relatively quiet and very efficient. An excellent value for the price!

Our 15 year old dehumidifier stopped working and we checked pricing at BestBuy and found this one at a good price and we bought the last one! It is very quiet and works extremely well. We have it in an area with 1400 SqFt and it is working very well.

Wish I had purchased two of these powerhouses. Dried out an area of our basement so well and quickly I simply have to buy another to handle another separate area. Easy to set-up and run and available for in-store pick-up when I purchased.

Thanks to my Frigidare dehumidifier, I now have a dry basement. It is a little noisy when the fan runs.

The difference in my entire house is amazing. Has helped with our allergies.

I already own one of these dehumidifiers and when my other one (different name brand) stopped working, I dashed out and bought another Frigidaire. These two work great, are energy efficient, and help maintain my basement at a nice low 40% humidity level.

Have prior model for ~10 years now, and still chugging along. Live in Maryland, so I run 2 humidifiers in the basement. This system replace one I had for 30 year that finally stopped working. Expect this one to last for a very long time.

I ended up taking it back as it did not work for my circumstances. The machine should was fine, it did a good job dehumidifying. It was reasonably quiet. The space I was in, the heat out put, a normal by product of dehumidifying. Was too much for the space. I will most likely need a whole house dehumidifier.

This dehumidifier replaces a similar one that we had for about 5 years and it ran continuously. We were very pleased with the previous one and this one is starting out with equal excellence, except, it is quieter! We are very pleased.

This product will open your eyes. It is mind blowing how much moisture is in the air in our basement. With the excess rain we have received this year, this product has truly helped with that all too common musty smell that is known to come from a basement.
