The previous Frigidaire dehumidifier I had was very loud. Then it stopped working. This model is quiet and keeps the basement dry.

Humidifier does what it is suppose to. Works well in my basement and keeps levels under 50% which is what I want in my very large basement

Its easy to use, simple settings, has a spout you can hook a hose to automatically empty into our sump pump or has an easy section to empty

This is a wonderful product. We empty it each morning so it is definitely working and keeping our basement humidity extremely low.

I cannot believe how much water this dehumidifier removes from the air on a daily basis. I thought I had a "minor" humidity problem in my basement so went out and purchased this item. As a background, my house basement is large (2500 square feet) and fully finished/insulated/built out. I live in Alexandria, VA so the summers are hot and humid. I have to empty this item at least once a day and the basement is much more comfortable now! This is a major improvement over my previous item.

This dehumidifier is easy to empty and operate. Can attach a hose to drain water. Easy read, easy controls to operate.

We have had this unit for about one month and we are very happy with the initial performance of this dehumidifier. Contrary to some on-line reviews this dehumidifier does raise the room temperature several degrees. It is also a bit on the noisy side to use in an occupied room. We rarely purchase extended warranties because of the poor return on investment (ROI). However we did opt for the 4-year extended warranty for this unit based upon our own prior experience with dehumidifiers, and the consistent on-line reviews reporting problems from all makes and models. Hopefully the extended warranty will again be a poor ROI

Our old dehumidifier died. I checked online but nobody in town had this model in stock, except Best Buy. It was cheaper at Best Buy too. I ordered and paid online. Five minutes total once I got to Best Buy to pick it up and load into the car. They even brought it out and put it in the car. Can't beat that. The basement is nice and dry again. I expect it to last the usual four or five years before it needs replacement again. That seems to be about as long as they last, for me anyway.

I have only had this a couole months. Just started using it. I checked reviews on this before I purchased. Definatly quitee than any that I have had. Looks good to.

Bought it for son and his wife for their basement. Works great, easy to use, and loved the connection for attaching a hose. So simple...

This humidifier does the job. It has been great keeping our basement dry for over the past year during a record breaking rainfall season.

This unit dehumidified my basement after it got flooded. Set the unit to 50% and in a couple of days it turned itself off.

We like this dehumidifer so far. The bucket could be a little bigger. We will see how long this one lasts. Our last one was a Danby but died after 3 years.

The dehumidifier works great in my basement. The 70 pint may have been a tad overkill but the price difference from the 50-70 made it worth it.
