Drier air, is cooler air

The one problem I have is the instructions state to rinse out the tank with soap and water. Unfortunately, there is a plastic shield that I can not get off and it starting to look ugly in the bottom. I do rinse it out, but it is still ugly. Despite this, I love the unit.

Even with waterproofing work done, basement remains damp and musty at times. This Frigidaire works fine. Controls easy to use, easy to clean filter and emptying water not a problem since I have a hose draining it. It definitely removes the dampness. Gave a 4 star rating because it is Not all that quiet even on low setting but really not a problem for me.

Helps keep the humidity down in the house during the summer. We also use it to help dry the carpets faster after they have been shampooed. The filter on the back is easy to clean. Everything works great. It fills up faster than you would think and the shut off when it's full is a great feature.
