Best dehumidifier ever!

We’ve now had this dehumidifier for 2 years and have had no issues with it. It’s one of the best humidifiers we’ve ever owned. The best feature for us is the ability to attach a hose and drain it to the floor drain in our basement. No more emptying buckets of water!

This machine in 2 hours reduced the humidity in a 700sqft basement dramatically. I couldnt believe it. my only complaint is it does warm up the room due to the warm air that comes out on the side which is the air thats had the humidity removed from it

Posted .Therapist, it is normal for your appliance to make some noise when in use, this is usually from the compressor turning on and pulling moisture from the air. If you hear a “buzzing” noise, this may be coming from the compressor and may indicate the dehumidifier is “seizing up” or “locking up” from running too much at too low of a RH% (relative humidity) level. Please unplug the dehumidifier and let it cooldown, then set it for a higher RH% level and run for another 24 hours to watch for more noises. Please reach out to us directly for more assistance. I have had four floods an in the kitchen due to a rodent eating the drainage under the sink and from the dishwasher. The final flood occurred when it ate water intake to the dishwasher. It is a 70 pint capacity and also offers a drain for a hose. I had been to 5 places & this was the best deal.

It wants its air filter cleaned more frequently than I would prefer, but that may all be because of the duty that it is seeing. I have piped it to a sump drain and there is no leak. VERY satisfied with this unit. Hope it runs as long as my last one (40+ years! and still running), but I doubt it.
