After experiencing a very damp basement for a long time, we decided we needed a dehumidifier. Research pointed to the Frigidaire as the best choice. Boy, were the reviewers right. The Frigidaire ran continuously for two weeks, and now keeps the basement dry and warm. Thanks Frigidaire!

This de-humidifier will remove 70 pints in less than 24 hours. I plugged this de-humidifier in my basement and it filled up in less than 18 hours. I have been running this de-humidifier for 3 weeks and it fills up everyday and my basement does not feel damp at all

Living in a condo on the beach presents extreme challenges to comfortable air. This dehumidifier has proved dependable in reducing humidity and odors emanating from excessive moisture in our unit. We can breathe much better although we had to adjust to the noise.

I have a 3rd floor almost like basement without windows. This works great when connected to an external hose for dumping the moister into like a sink or shower. You just leave it on and it does the work. The bottom floor never feels musty or humid anymore.

Make sure the not throw away the hose extension adapter, it is packaged in the top piece of foam. I can see some people being impatient and throwing it away. The adapter makes for attaching a hose way easier. I would suggest a hose, why empty the reservoir when you don't have to?

3rd one, don't expect long service,but works great

Does a good job removing moisture from large room, but unit starts and stops frequently. Exhausts warm air after running for 30 mins or longer. This was somewhat unexpected. Bucket is hard to to grab in order to remove from cabinet to empty.

Ordered it at the store and was shipped to my home. Plugged it in in the basement and humidity was at 85. Within one day it had the humidity down to 55. I now run it on low and it maintains the 55. Does not run continuously, and the noise level is low.

Experiencing abnormal amount of moisture due to high humidity. Observed signs of mildew, decided on a de-humidifier. After researching, decided on this model. Further research, found that Best Buy, had the best deal. Purchased made, Satisfied Customer

Even though my last unit did not last 2 years, I bought the same model. The old one had worked well until the end. Frigidaire customer service honored the warranty even though it was a little past. None of the other brands had better longevity and/or reviews. I went for the good customer service.

Purchased a 70 pint unit for my house to keep humidity level comfortable and under control. The unit has been getting the job done nicely so far. I empty the drain bucket once every two days and on humid days every other day. So far great product!

It is good product to buy for small area. Only thing you have to empty bucket frequenty

Bought two of these. One for my house. The other for mother-in-law. Both died in a year. One was just shy of 1 year, so it was still under factory warranty, supposedly. Now on fifth call with Fridgidaire for service and replacement. Each time I get a different answer. I've been told I would get a certificate in the mail I could use to buy a replacement. Then I was told someone would call to tell me where to go get a replacement. And then I was told Fridgidaire would contact Best Buy and have them tell me when I could come get a replacement. Each call, a different answer. Currently on 6th call, and been on hold for nearly 1 hour. Just a run-around. So, my advice to you... do not buy this dehumidifier.

Bought a new house with a very damp basement - put this in there, and it dried it out in no time. The only negative I would say is the water receptacle is pretty small and fills up quickly, but I used the house connection and routed it outside.

I purchased a second unit because of how pleased I was with the first one I purchased. Works well. Has 3 fan speeds, a timer. I like the fact that it can either be used standalone or connected to a hose to drain the water so I don't have to empty the water.

Great product. Put it in basement of a new home during hot humid Summer. Within hours the humidity went from 85% to 55%. Had to dump collection bucket a few times so I installed a drain line to a pump out (highly recommend doing this).

I recently purchased this 70 pint dehumidifier after I fell in love with my 50 pint. It works like a charm is also very ascetically pleasing. I love the continuous drain feature. It does run a bit loud, but that is to be expected with this type of product.

Versus other dehumidifier models from the past, this easily is the most efficient. In addition to having a very large capcity, note that this year's new model boasts a built-in pump; no gravity draining from a connected hose needed!

This is a replacement dehumidifier. It seems they last only a few years. This unit has a 3 speed fan for a speed you choose. It beeps when full, and has a flashing light too, to notify you when it’s full. Easy controls to set unit.
