Buy older model NOT this one
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I own the older model of this Frigidaire dehumidifier so when I was looking for a second unit I bought the updated model. What a mistake! I never knew that the engineers could make so many negative changes. Here’s a few: the air intact is in the back of the unit so the front of the unit has to face the wall, the unit has a large flashing light indicating when the water bucket is full which is annoying, and the front of the water bucket no longer has a handle making it harder to pull out to empty it. The description states that the water bucket is smaller than the previous model. Lastly I like that the older model vented on the top where I could aim it at an A/C air intake vs within the room. Bottom line buy the older Frigidaire - it is an excellent unit.
