Quit after 18 months

Don't know why they keep making these things so poorly that after a year or two all the refrigerant out leaks out! I've gone through five dehumidifiers in 7 years all the same. Different brands as well

Will not work for more than 1 year

So I called Frigidaire and they said they needed to replace the unit. The following year the same thing happened. And they again told me that they need to replace the unit. The problem is I need to them the receipt, except I didn't get another one with the replacement unit.

Doesn't last more than a couple years

Not even 2 years after buying it, I get the dreaded "F0" code that pretty much means it's dead. So time to spend another $300 on a new one. Last time buying a Frigidaire/Electrolux model!

You'll need to buy one every year or two

This lasted one summer. We bought it in June 2018 and when we tried to run in May 2019 for the first time for the summer, we got an F0 error and it won't work. $250 for a dehumidifier that will work for only a few months before breaking down is ridiculous.

Didn't last a year

They run for a short period of time without actually removing any moisture from the air, and then shut off with an F0 fault code. They worked well when they worked, but I'm not really interested in spending over $1,000 a year on dehumidifiers and disposing of four appliances a year.

I mean it runs but no water is collected. It's displaying an error code F01. For a barely used system to fail just outside warranty is not accepting. Buyers beware.

The effectiveness of the dehumidifier depends on the rate at which new moisture-laden air enters the room. May be dead after 2 seasons.

At the end of this season I have been getting an error code and it shuts down I am hoping it is happening because it was colder in my basement, but I don't think that is the cause.

Extremely noisy

Failed/lost refrigerant after 1 season.

It had a refrigerant leak and wouldn't run this spring. It had 1 week left on the warranty and they were easy to work with in getting it replaced/shipped for free.

f0 error and unit does not work

If the display reads "F0", check the following operating conditions. Outlet voltage should be 115V±10% and the surrounding temperature should be with in the range of 41 °F (5 °C) to 96 °F (32 °C). Stopped at 7 months!!!

I read all available literature on problem solving and nothing worked. After looking at the other reviews, I see that this is a common problem.
