Bought this 7/24/17, used a few times 2017 and a few more 2018. By spring of 2019, it no longer worked whereas it would simply display F0 a few minutes after operation and remain stuck there. Unplug and plug in again? Nope, 1 minute later F0... For only being used a handful of times, I'm not only disappointed but sweaty.... I contacted their customer service and they're going to send me a replacement after jumping through all their hoops with serial number packaging, cord cutting, printing, scanning and picture taking.... Overall the product gets a 1, but their customer service is replacing the unit free of charge so they are getting a 2. (should've been a 1.5 option, see hoop jumping above)

Worked good when it actually worked. Got an f0 error code not long after the warranty expired. Do not recommend

I am on my third Frigidaire Dehumidifier. The first stopped working just short of the one year warranty. Frigidaire was quite good about replacing with new one. I got an extended warranty and good thing because this was stopped working shortly after the one year warranty had expired. Rather than give me a replacement this time they had me send in the original receipt and the model/serial number sticker off the replacement and refunded my money. I bought a third same Frigidaire dehumidifier same model along with an extended warranty. When it works it works well, and other brands seem to be worse. For the price of one, I will keep getting replacements, only cost me the extended warranty so I am happy although it is a pain to go through the replacement every year. Hopefully someone will come with a dehumidifier that last the way the old ones did---for years!

I love the look and that it was pretty quiet. Did a really good job removing the humidity in my basement UNTIL it stopped working on after 15 months! Very disappointing and out of warranty. Thank god I purchased the extended warranty. Best Buy was very good about refunding my money and applying it to a new dehumidifier purchase. BUY AN EXTENDED WARRANTY! I’ve had several units (different brands) with similar results and poor reliability.

The unit is working, but is filling up the bucket. The bucket has to be continually emptied which is every 6-8 hours. The hose attachment is not working properly. We have checked multiple times to adjust and the water is not draining through the hose as it should. We will have to return to get a replacement which is a hassle and should not have to be done.

bought this for my mom and she has been complaining nonstop about how hot it makes the room. I need to return this when I get the chance.

Nice unit, fairly quiet. But it didn't last long. Died after 2.5 years.

It has stopped working giving us an "FO" faults after having it for about 2 years. It has to be unplugged and plugged back in it then works for a day or two and then stops and faults out again.

It worked well for just over a year then quit. Good thing I bought the Geek Squad protection plan so I got a new one for free.

Worked fine for 2 years (2017-2019), in damp basement environment; then consistent failure showing Error Code "F0".

Poor unit. Stopped functioning after 3.5 months of use.

Didn’t work as well as I had expected takes to long for any progress

Like other reviews up there, I received the F0 error code after only 15 months (May 2016 to October 2017). Thankfully, I made it through two summers unlike others. This is still a horrible performance for a $250+ device (when I purchased). To clear the error I must unplug the device and plug it back in. Then it runs for another couple days until it errors again. On the plus side, this unit worked great and flawlessly for the 15 months I could use it. I had my unit setup for continuous drain. Maybe it didn't get enough breaks. Who knows. Either way, I'm quite disappointed in my purchase.

We've had this dehumidifier about a year now. Already the electronic controls have gone bad (can't change settings) and now it's begun to leak rusty looking water onto the floor. However it is still removing moisture from the air. The bucket has always been difficult to empty because of its weird design. Terribly disappointed with this product. Dehumidifiers we had years ago were so much better!

Worked great for2 years. Then the medicine would be off, with "FO" displayed. At that point i would have to unplug and then plug the machine back in. It would then run for a day, and would have to unplug and plug back in. Finally almost 4 years old, and it froze... There was a thick layer of ice on the lower section of the filter. Unplugged, let thaw, and it would work for a day. Then it was making electric clicking/popping sounds. So i unplugged it and won't be plugging it back in now, as it seems to be an electrical hazard at this point...ugh.

Product seemed to work great until exactly 3 years after purchase...now it sounds like it's going to blow up/summon a robot army/won't take any humidity out of the air/won't shut off unless it's unplugged from the wall... I did buy the 4 year coverage plan so will be swapping this item out with a non-Frigidaire unit. I previously purchased a GE dehumidifier from walmart that only lasted 2 years, so I need to find a product with some longevity.
