I bought this portable air conditioner formy living room/kitchen! It worked great for about 3 days then it wasn't getting cold and it wasn't blowing the air on high. So we took it back but they were sold out so had to get a refund and ordered another one online to be delivered in 5 days! I am sure it was defective so I am trying another one because it worked great when it worked! Plus it had great reviews and we are modifying our window kit to be more efficient.

This air conditioner works really well. It is super easy to install in the window. The unit is kind of noisy, but the cool air comfort makes up for it.

Bought this to cool my brother's home, which is a little under 700 SF on the main level. It does a great job, and he is loving it!

Where do I begin?! I was REALLY looking forward to using this air conditioner! :( The installation process makes you want to tear your hair out (this is for a sliding window). The instructions are poorly written for someone who knows very little about installing a portable air conditioner like this. Even with the help of the adhesive insulation foam there were very noticeable gaps between the window and the panel pieces…big enough that we had to buy additional foam insulators. Oh, and forget about screwing anything in to secure the panels, the gaps wouldn't allow it. Unfortunately, we will have to return this portable A/C system before even using it. I was hoping to keep it because it has such great reviews, but sadly it's going back. Maybe Frigidaire should create helpful installation videos because I looked all over the internet and couldn't find a single one, I even went on Frigidaire's website and none were found. So, unless you have a window that slides up/down versus side-to-side, no, I do not recommend this appliance.
