The packaging design allowed easy opening with the option to use the carton for off-season storage. Instruction were very clear and unit operation started quickly and easily.

When it's over 90 degrees outside, it struggles to keep a 200 sq ft room under 74 degrees. Yes, I'm sure the vent is installed correctly. The remote also doesn't work properly. The system beeps, meaning it received a signal, but I have to press the button 3-5 times before it actually performs the function. I would go with another brand. Not worth more than $200.

It is surprisingly quiet. Only challenge was that the window mounting that holds the exhaust hose only goes 47" and my window was 54. So ending up with a less than elegant patchwork of "stuff" in the window.

Tried it out and it seams like it will cool down a room fairly well. Living in S Florida you need a plan B for air conditioning.
