Love the top controls (keeps the grandkids from messing with the buttons) Can program your most common wash cycle options and save it so you just need to press one button in the future.nice sleek look and quiet. Installed easily and no leaks. Compartment designed well with silverware tray to one side and long. Very quiet.

    Great Dishwasher for the Price

We purchased this dishwasher around the holiday shopping season. The item's price is very reasonable. The unit holds plenty of dishes. There are multiple settings to accommodate the type of wash required. We love the hidden controls. Our toddler would press buttons on our older dishwasher. She can not get access to them on this unit. The outside of the product is stainless steel, but it does not show fingerprints easily, which is nice. Make sure you measure the depth of the opening for the dishwasher. You want to make sure that there is plenty of room for the unit to push back. If there is not, the controls will show at the top and it does not look great. I had to remove the drywall behind by dishwasher to give me the extra .5 inches. There is very little room for plates on the top rack. This is frustrating as a parent. My toddler's plates need to be top shelf only, however there is not enough room to put them up there. Sometimes there is food particles left sitting on the bottom of the dishwasher after a wash. I've never had this problem with any of my other dishwashers. Overall the pros outweigh the cons. The price really helps.

Great dishwasher, Quiet, cleans very well. We owned this dishwasher now for couple of months and have never been disappointed by it. It is very quiet cleans extremely well. I wish it had a stainless steel tub for aesthetic purposes however it works so well that we don't mind the plastic tub. I had purchase a samsung dishwasher for a lot more money for a property I used to live in and now I rent out and this frigidair is a much better dishwasher. It is more quiet easier to install connect and most of all everything always comes out clean out of it. I am extremely happy with this model.

I've only used my new dishwasher several times, but I am very happy so far. The dishwasher is much quieter than the Maytag it replaced. The dishes have come clean without much rinsing beforehand. I like the layout. My tall wine glasses don't fit in the top rack though. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the interior was gray (with the black dishwasher). Nicer than the white I was expecting (though not as nice as stainless of course). I had a pleasant experience buying the dishwasher. The sales associate was helpful and did not try to upsell me. I bought this during a free delivery and installation promotion. The installers came early, removed my old machine, and installed the new dishwasher quickly. There was an unexpected charge to install a water hammer arrestor, which the installers said was required to meet a change in code.

Once I got past the fact that the door didn't close properly due to broken part on my first one, the second one has performed very well. It is quiet and seems to do a nice job on the dishes. My last one was twelve years old when it finally tapped out, so this one has been a vast improvement.

My prior Frigidaire had a design flaw. This resulted in an unfixable, leaking $800 machine. So, I was hesitant to buy another, especially one under $400. I'm glad I did. This machine looks great, works well and runs quietly. Higher cost doesn't always mean better.

Cleans dishes well. Relatively quiet. Seems to hold a little less than our old dishwasher unless care is taken to load. Hidden controls are nice, but make it difficult to check on the status of the load. For example, at startup during sensing it is hard to tell if the dishwasher has started. Eventually a light goes on to tell you the load is done, but this is seen much easier at night in the dark and hard to see during the day. No problems with cleaning.

The outside design is very nice. The dishwasher is SUPER quiet and has many settings. BUT....not thrilled with the quality of the of the cleaning. I've attempted all the different settings but often have small pieces of food debris dried on my dishes. The two racks, which are adjustable, are poorly designed for loading the dishwasher. I can't place my regular size dinner plates in the center of the bottom rack because the spinning mechanism hits them. I can place them only at the one side. Very inconvenient! The top rack has adjustable prongs that are of no use. The racks in my old dishwasher from the 90s were designed much better. Very disappointing!

I required a dishwasher that had the food disposer, delayed start and held a lot of dishes. This cleans well, holds quite a large load and is relatively quiet. Just remember to keep the easy to remove filter clean.

This dishwasher replaced my last frigidaire dishwasher which was basically the same model but 11 years old. We ran it into the ground, running it almost every night. I installed this myself, and the only extra thing that I had to buy was a simple generic dishwasher water connector from home depot for about $3. This may not beat the quietest Bosch on the market, but for half the price of other dishwashers, it's definitely worth the money and you get a lot more than what you pay for. As far as I'm concerned, appliances are disposable this day in age. Nothing is made to last 30 years anymore. So you can either pay $800-$1,000 for a dishwasher that will last 10-12 years. Or you can pay $400 for a dishwasher that will last the same amount of time. Don't be suckered by the salesman into buying a $1,000 Bosch.

Another great product from Frigidaire. Set up was very simple.I only need an adapter from water line to unit. The drain line was universal and easily cut to size,Electrical connection was accessible. The unit was very quite and dishes were spotless. Frigidaire could have included a sample of detergent for the 1st sample wash. This unit matches my Frigidaire Gallery Microwave, Refrigerator and Gas Range.Product is ver sleek and has a clean look.

This dishwasher cleans very well. It allows me to have up to 12 sets of dishes stacked in the dishwasher and have them all get clean. This is amazing. My one complaint is that the dishes do not always get 100% dry. Usually the silverware holder will still be wet even after the hottest dry. This is, however, a minor issue.

So we bought this to replace a dishwasher in our house which decided to die right before selling. For the money its an ok dishwasher. It isn't too loud, but the top rack is kind of wobbly when you go to push it back in. Also I don't like that the silverware tray is set up to have the silverware have the handle down, its a small thing but I don't like getting stabbed so I end up flipping the lid up and propping things in. I would snap the lid off, but since we are selling I'll deal. Its done a great job at getting things clean, no complaints there. Now for the new house we are building we are definitely going Bosch.

I got this on clearance as an open box item. I only gave it 4 stars be cause it had a small ding on the front (barely noticeable though). Otherwise, I love it. It was a huge upgrade from our other machine and work so much better, and best of all: its amazingly quiet. I used to have to turn our TV in the other room up when our old dishwasher was on, but now I can barely hear this one when I'm standing right next to it. As for its functionality, I have yet to see a spot on a glass or any food left on a plate, no matter how you pack this thing. I love how modular it is. The upper rack raises and lowers to accommodate larger pans down below. You have holders for stemware up top as well as plenty of room for taller glasses and mugs. Truly, you can't go wrong with this machine.

    Lower spray arm is defective

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

The lower spray arm assembly comes loose nearly every cycle. This causes the dishes to not clean or dry properly. It also causes the lower arm spinner to come into contact with the heating element, which then melts the assembly over time. You can see in the photo, the assembly is loose and the blue spinner is tilted over onto the element. This is how it is roughly 80% of the time after running any cycle. I have purchased 4 lower arm replacements and, eventually, every single one has partially melted. It is at a point where I often just don’t use the dishwasher because it is so unreliable. I have read other online reviews and message boards describing exactly this same issue. I assume they aren’t all this way, but apparently many have this defect. Electrolux/ Frigidaire, for their part, refuse to do anything to help after the 1 year warranty was up. I do not recommend this product.

Very quiet, lots of wash options, though we hardly use any but the normal wash. The only thing I don't like is that on the bottom rack there are small prongs in the center, which I'm still trying to figure out what they are for! They are to short to hold up small plates, and by having them there they prevent me from being able to place pots / pans / bowls that are laying down exactly how I would prefer to have them. I feel like I could cram more into my previous washer, even though they were the same size, based on how the prongs are laid out. But this washer is definitely a nice machine!

I am still impressed every time I wash my dishes because it can barely be heard. It cleans the dishes well and there is a ton of room inside. I like having the buttons where they are hidden because I have a small child. The only thing that would make it better would be to have a light to indicate when it was done on the face because it's so quiet.

Love the new dishwasher. Had a whirlpool before and didn't clean the dishes worth a flip. Our dishes are sparkling again! There is plenty of room to get everything in for the wash. I like the bigger silverware basket and having it in the lower rack. Easy to load and clean every time.

This dishwasher is exactly what I wanted. You can barely hear it running. Leaves no film or watermarks on the glasses. (Love that!) and it is roomy, fits lots of dishes in one load. The Frigidaire Gallery No Smudge stainless steel is wonderful because it doesn't show fingerprints like most other stainless steel products do.
