Posted .Hello Jenn. We recommend that unless the dishwasher is to be operated at once, it is best to pre-rinse or use the RINSE ONLY cycle to rinse off food soils. Be sure to scrape away any large food articles. We do recommend the continued use of a rinse aid. Also, please confirm that your water heater is set at 120°F (49°C) to assure proper water temperature inside the dishwasher. Lastly, run the faucet closest to the dishwasher prior to starting the dishwasher to purge cold water from the hot water line. Bummed out to hear you are not getting the best cleaning/drying performance from your unit. Please try checking and cleaning your filters or a pinched/blocked drain hose. If the drain line is attached to a disposer, check that the knockout plug has been removed.
Your household water pressure along with the water temperature plays a key role in your appliance’s performance. I recommend checking your water temperature and pressure; the recommended temperature should be 49°C (120°F) and the water pressure should be 20 to 120 pounds per square (psi).
