great choice
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this dishwasher, it looks great, has a smudge proof exterior (except handle) and runs super quietly. My only problem is that the top anchor brackets do not move/slide like on other models. This means new holes will have to be drilled in my granite counter tops because the brackets do not line-up with previous bracket placement of my old dishwasher. I will have to buy the side mounting kit, which if you ask me should be included instead of the top brackets or have the granite guy come out and drill new holes. OK one more thing, the quick wash is designed to only wash bottom rack; however you would not know this unless you read the manual, you might think dishwasher doesn't work well, but it is designed that way. OK last thing its really much lower than old dishwasher I think because it is considered a tall tub.

Excellent value!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a week before Thanksgiving and our $1500.00 Kitchenaid dishwasher took an abrupt early retirement. To be fair, it was 10 years old but we had service issues with it a few times over that period. When looking to replace we wanted something that closely looked like the old one as our built in fridge and wall ovens matched as well. While Kitchenaids styling has changed a little, this Frigidaire Gallery model looked exactly like the other appliances. At one third the price of the old one we are blown away by the performance of the unit. It cleans perfectly and is much quieter than the old one or the 51db speck it says it meets. If you're not standing next to it you can't hear it. While the interior baskets and tines aren't as beefy as the old one the overall performance and value are outstanding. Five stars at this price...

good buy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My issue is does it clean and this one does. I had a contractor quality d/w when we built a home in 2012 and I just couldn't take the work I had to do to get my dishwasher to clean my dishes. This one does the job beautifully. It's moderately quiet but wouldn't keep you up at night if you run the cycle at bedtime. I love that the control panel is at the top of the door so I don't accidentally change settings by rubbing up against the door. This was a great buy.

Excellent Value
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Our old dishwasher was still working but had seen its day. so my wife did her research and this is the model that she came up with for me since I usually do the dishes and load the dishwasher. We are very pleasantly surprised and happy with the purchase. We like the hidden controls which leave a clean front for the overall view. While not absolutely silent this washer is much quieter than its predecessor, you can hear it running but you do not have to raise your voice nor do I have to turn up the TV in the family room while it runs.

Great product, missing side mount kit
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great dishwasher, however, if you have granite or silestone counter tops, you will need to order the side mount kit to secure the dishwasher to your cabinet frame. Frigedaire has this kit and model number in their install instructions. Thing is, why don't they just include the kit with the dishwasher?!!! For what you pay the $20.00 kit should be included. I had to order the kit and will have to install it myself. Yes I could go back to the store and make them send another installer, but I want it done right and it is not that complicated!

great dishwasher for price!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the high capacity, quietness, does a good job with cleaning as well. Some difficulty with burned on foods, but haven't tried most powerful settings. Salesman Tony at Dubuque Best Buy extremely helpful and Installer Scott was an A-1 professional! Very pleased with experience so far.

Posted .Hello, Ommy! I can understand your concern with your dishes not drying. To enhance drying performance, make sure you are using plenty of rinse aid, you aren't selecting the Air Dry setting, and you aren't stacking the dishes. Plastic dishes do not get as hot as others do, so they may not dry as well. Dishes with concave bottoms will hold moisture as well. I hope this helps!

So far, so good
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We used BB Installation... they did a great job. Nice people and were timely. Highly recommended. The dishwasher is very quiet and does a really nice job cleaning dishes. That comes recommended, too. HOPING it won't fail like our previous dw did. The circuit board (where you program the dw cycles) died, so we had to replace it.

Best toy ever
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So quiet. I have a small house, I no longer have to turn up the TV or talk over the dish washer. Cleans dishes well. No food or food residue left over. It even fits my wine glasses and cleans my cake decorating supplies. Simply wonderful. My only regret is not kicking the old dishwasher out sooner.

So far so good
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this dishwasher back in May and haven't had any problems with it. It's not quite as quiet as I had hoped for (the higher db rating is accurate so don't go in thinking it will be silent) but it cleans our dishes well and the amount of time it takes doesn't seem too long. Yes you'll have some wet dishes if you don't give it time to dry. We just wash on the highest temp settings and let them air dry. Normally it's fine and we have very little water plus save on electricity by not using the heating element. I love how the outside looks. No fingerprints or water stains and no having to clean the stainless steel exterior! Nice! Sure the inside doesn't have stainless steel but that doesn't seem to affect how well it washes dishes. Considering how cheap this dishwasher was, I bought the extended warranty just in case and it was still several hundred dollars cheaper than the cheapest Bosch. I would recommend this dishwasher to anyone who just wants a simple dishwasher that cleans your dishes and is still fairly quiet #although not silent--but still better than our old GE dishwasher).

Purchased Dishwasher with 3 other appliances
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Moved into new home and needed to upgrade the kitchen appliances. Went with the Frigidaire "Gallery" product line. Dishwasher looks and works great. Very easy to use but the inside components that actually hold the dishes while being cleaned seemed to be a little flimsy and most of our wine glasses won't fit in the top glassware rack.

Drying issue
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Does a very good job at cleaning and various cycle combinations so you can fill and clean only the top rack if you have a small amount to do. The issue I have is with the drying. It has 3 heat settings for drying the dishes. I placed it on the medium one and found the dishes were mostly dry but the inside walls still were dripping with water. I found there was one higher setting "Sahara" as to mean desert hot drying. On this highest setting I still find a substantial amount of water on the inside walls. As a single dad the cleaned dishes may not be removed within the first 1-2 days. If I do not open the door and let them "air dry" the rest of the way it is still moisture laden a couple of days later. My old $250 Kenmore dried better than this model at almost twice the cost. Otherwise I would give this 5 stars for what it can do at this price point.

Does not hold up more than 6 months
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have had this unit purchased new for a little over 2 yrs now and have had to replace the lower washer arm 2 times and about to replace it a third. The arm wears and then does not rotate any more as the blue spinning disk on one end weighs more than the other side of the arm creating an unbalanced pinch point. When this happens the washer not only does not clean dishes but redeposits the nasty stuff on the cleaner dishes and bakes it on. The controls are hidden on the top ledge that is not visible when the unit is in use resulting in people opening it mid-run and it does not always complete the run when closed. The controls are not consistent at all. Pressing start does not always start it, the delay start more often than not does not run.. We try to run it at night then fail to have dishes in the am when it didn't run and it's almost a 3hr run time on the strongest settings (it doesn't clean properly in any other setting). This unit does not have a built in food grinder either so you have to really clean dishes almost as much as a full hand wash or get stuck cleaning the screen more often than you'd like to (it's disgusting trust me). We have a large family (5 children) and the wait time coupled with dirty dishes and inconsistent results makes this a total loss for us. The 15 yr old Kenmore at our prior townhouse ran marathons (not circles) around this. Now if you are really concerned about having the stainless finish and don't do dishes often and have a small family it may not be a complete disaster for you - but I would still suggest doing the homework for a better model. The one other pro (aside from the non smudge finish) is this thing is really quiet, as in the water moving through the plumbing makes more noise than this unit.. They did manage to get that right. Note to those stuck with it - it's been noted the lower arm can be completely swapped with a different unit that does not have that blue spinning disk - worth some searching to get that alternative arm vs replacing it 2x / yr at 65$ each (avail from any decent online parts vendor).

Cheap, Cheap, Cheap
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As others have mentioned....this dishwasher is almost all plastic. It’s not sturdy. You can actually twist the door when it's open! It does NOT come with all the necessary parts for installation. The only reason I kept the thing is that I got it so inexpensively....this model had been marked way down...otherwise it'd would have gone back. It is quiet and does seem to do a decent job on the dishes but I have no confidence in the longevity of this product. Would not recommend unless you get an incredible deal.
