    Not happy....will be returning

    We have had this dishwasher for a grand total of 3 days and it will be returned tomorrow. The layout for the top rack is terrible. The fold down things to put silverware on etc do not have the option to be in the up position. If you raise then up, you cannot slide the drawer back in. The front middle of the rack is a complete waste of space. I don't know if we have a defective one but the top rack also does not glide in like it should. You have to wrangle with it for it to go in. And after all this, it is incredibly loud. We could barely hear the tv while we ran the first cycle of dishes. Needless to say, we will be taking this back first thing tomorrow morning. For $450 I expected a much better quality product.

    We bought this dishwasher to match our other appliances, but we were on a budget. When we went in store to browse, the representative was amazing in helping us determine the pros/cons of each "level" of dishwasher - from purposeful items like vibrations/sounds/energy efficiency, etc. to cosmetic bells/whistles that didn't matter much to us. We originally had a particular dishwasher n mind and went to the store ready to purchase it. But after a great customer service experience, we were shown a better option and convinced to change our decision. Ultimately, we landed on a "open box" dishwasher that was perfect for us. We originally did not get the install package as we YouTubed it and looked easy. In short, pay to get it installed by BBY. Its not that expensive in the long run, and they did it right! Plus they through in a new hose kit to boot! We are happy with the dishwasher, but more so the service the Best Buy blue shirts (associates) offered us.

    We ordered this dishwasher in a suite on October 19, and when it arrived on November 7th we were blown away by it's beauty and functionality. It has absolutely transformed the look of our kitchen completely., and is so quiet you barely know it's on!

    Best Dishwasher I’ve ever had

    I’ve been using dishwashers for 40 yrs, high end ones and economy ones. This is hands down the quietest dishwasher I’ve ever used. The dishes always get super clean (I use the normal setting) and apart from some water left on the top of some glasses on the top rack (and very little at that) the dishes are put-away dry. Cycle says 130 minutes but it never takes that long. Within 45 minutes it’s finished and dried. I highly recommend this dishwasher

    Never buy frigidaire!

    Bought this dishwasher in June 2015, and it was great...for 4 months. Then no heat - no hot water, no heated dry. Frigidaire scheduled someone to come out. Wait a week. Then the technician cancelled because it was raining. Came out few days later and for 20 minutes looked at it as if he had never seen this product before. Decided he needed to replace motherboard and heating coil. But shouldn't I be concerned that these parts broke in just 4 months? Oh no, he said. Don't worry. Wait another week for the parts to come in and install. But it's working - yay! And then 5 days later broke again....the week before thanksgiving! Technician said he'd order a heating coil (thought that's what he already replaced). He'll call me once in comes in. Never hear from him again. In the meantime, it miraculously starts working again. For a couple weeks. Then breaks again. Call frigidaire again. Have to wait a couple more weeks for another technician. So today's the day. Been without functioning dishwasher for 2.5 months, took the day off to finally have it fixed again. But technician just called to cancel. I'm completely fed up with frigidaire! And I've not even mentioned the frigidaire refrigerator, purchased at the same time, that's also not working! Called Best Buy. Explained both appliances sold to us 6 months ago are not functioning and frigidaire is not repairing to our satisfaction. We are also elite plus members. I would expect Best Buy would stand behind their products and take them back if we're not satisfied, especially for such loyal customers. Nope! No help. Stay away from Best Buy and frigidaire!

    LOUD and dirty

    We bought a house recently with this dishwasher already here and can't wait to get rid of it. Its loud when running and squeaks when opened (we can also hear our upstairs neighbor open and run hers, its that loud). Impossible to clean. I thought it was the previous owners doing a crap job at keeping the inside and drain screen clean but so many nooks and crannies make it hard to clean it and its really hard to realign the bottom sprayer once its taken off to clean around it. The top shelf holes are large and anything smaller than 6 inches in diameter will fall through and risk getting melted by the dryer. Doesn't clean well either. Usually one or two random dishes will be absolutely filthy when "clean". We had our dishes for 2 years at the old place with a Bosch dishwasher and no chips; we've lived with this DW for 3 months and already have 3 chipped dishes. CANNOT WAIT TO REPLACE THIS WITH A BOSCH. Spend the extra hundred for a low end Bosch, you'll be much happier.

      Thanks for taking the time to provide your feedback, DCCondoOwner! We are no pleased to learn the dishwasher isn't working well for you. We recommend cleaning the dishwasher every 3 months by running an empty cycle with the PowerPlus or Heavy Cycle and Santize Option or by pouring 1 cup of white vinegar directly into the tub and running an empty cycle. (DO NOT add detergent). Regarding the dishes chipping, try placing delicate items in the top rack. In addition, please review pages 14-18 in the Use and Care Guide for helpful tips that should address your concerns. -Bianca

    Disappointed in this one.

    Owned less than a year, the top left rail for the top shelf constantly pops loose. This requires then removing a plastic plug from the back of the rail, reinstalling the rail, then reinstalling the plug. The plug already has enough wear from the flex required to reinstall it that I'll be surprised if it lasts the warranty period. The lower sprayer arm, while it looks like it would work well, with the addition of the round piece, is so unbalanced by the round piece that I frequently open the door after a wash to find it is no longer connected to the spindle and lying, useless, at the bottom. I assume water just sprays out of the center of the spindle when this happens, as there is no longer connection to the arm. Reinstalling the lower arm *also* has created an excessive amount of wear on the soft plastic pieces that theoretically lock it in place (but don't, really). I've had several dishwashers in my lifetime, including some in rental properties. I've never been as disappointed in one as much as this Frigidaire. If I could return it for credit toward another one, I would in a second. Poor design, poor engineering. I expect to replace this with something that isn't a Frigidaire in a much shorter than usual dishwasher lifespan.

    Making my 6th service call since purchase!

    Purchased this dishwasher May 2015. Worked fine for the first 2-3 months. After that began to notice that the soap dispenser would not always open and therefore the dishes were not being cleaned properly. Called Fridgidaire customer service and each of the six times they send out a service repair and have not offered or agreed to replace machine. I have had 5 different servicers at my home and they have told me to switch type of soap, replaced dispensers , replaced control panel, reset electronic controls. Problem will resolve briefly and then again dispenser will not open with each wash. Fridgidaire will not agree to replace this washer which is still under warranty because they are able to get a servicer to make it work for one time while here. They suggest buying an extended warranty for a dishwasher that basically has not worked properly since purchase- a Lemon! I am 3 months away from new product warranty running out and regret purchasing this dishawasher. I have never had so many issues with any other brand of appliance.

    Steer clear of Frigidaire!

    Frigidaire dishwashers are the worst. This is my second one, with similar problems. This model is: PLD4375RFC3. Problems: 1. Door springs and door cord on both sides, both broke after a few months. parts were so poorly made, springs were thin metal and snapped. Cord was weak string with plastic eye hooks, that cracked. I bought the parts (about $80!) and replaced them, 6 months later, those also broke. We aren't rough on the door. It's just poor quality parts. My last washer, a M****g, lasted for years, without this issue. 2. PF (power failure) error comes on EVERY time we run a cycle. Sure you can clear this by press the stop button, but then you have to start the whole cycle again. This happens often when the cycle is 3/4 complete. I suspect steam is building up inside and setting off a sensor. Just a horrible design. Save yourself money and hassle. Don't ever buy a Frigidaire dishwasher. I spent a little more, bought a competing brand and no longer have dishwasher issues.

    Shame on us for buying this same model twice. We thought it was a fluke that we had so many issues the first time, but the second time around- more issues. It is 4 years old and we have paid the equivalent in repairs as we paid for it. Examples: hose/gasket underneath broke and flooded kitchen, multiple control pad replacements, spray arm replaced, and door latch replaced. Also, Frigidaire does not answer or call back customer complaints at their 800#.

    Worse dishwasher I have owned

    A year ago, I remodeled my entire condo and bought brand new appliances. I bought an FGID2466QF4A dishwasher from Frigidaire. Since I have used it, there is virtually not one time that I didn't have to wipe out the dishes either for water (it rarely dries properly), for dish soap, or worse, for remnants of grease or food. Sometimes, all of the above. It infuriates me every time. It is the worse dishwasher I have ever owned. What is the point of looking all fancy and futuristic, if it can't do the simplest task it's supposed to do: wash and dry dishes and utensils properly? And no matter what Frigidaire says in their repair or maintenance manuals, regarding use of more expensive dish soap, dry jet, sensitivity of the dishwasher, etc... At the end of the day, it is THEIR job to make sure the machine also operates in abnormal or difficult conditions. I had two cheap dishwashers in the past that didn't look remotely as fancy as this one and operated in exactly the same conditions, but they always did their job properly. For this one, I spent more money, and it's not even comparable how poorly it's performing. Frigidaire, please, stay in the fridge business, and nothing else!

    After over 5 months of fighting with Frigidaire over what a horrible dishwasher they sold us, our fight is finally over. But not because of their stellar customer service, oh no. It took at least 6 trips to our house with at least 4 different repair men and 2 different companies, and probably $1000 in parts and labor.....Frigidaire did all of that just to say they can't help us anymore, it's not their problem and they won't replace the dishwasher. THE PROBLEM YOU ASK???? Ever since we installed it the dishwasher has smelled like TRASH!!!!! no matter what they did or what we did. They said it's not a "parts" issue, therefore they were no longer willing to help. So they are allowed to sell us a $500+ dishwasher that smells like garbage, and because it technically still is spraying water, it's not broken so they wouldn't replace it. FINALLY LOWES has stepped in an let us return the piece of junk and put the money towards the new one. Too bad Lowes had to loose money on something that wasn't their fault, but ultimately they knew keeping their customer happy was more important.

    Extremely disappointed and disgruntled

    I purchased this in May of 2020. From day one, the Start button was extremely difficult to actuate. So much so that the membrane panel eventually cracked from all of the pressure required to get the dishwasher started. This was somewhat of a blessing, however, in that the crack exposed the momentary switch under the membrane which made it at least possible to actuate the switch, Not wanting an exposed hole in my relatively new dishwasher, I purchased and installed replacement parts, 5304520008 Dishwasher Control Panel Assembly and 5304517587 Dishwasher Switch Assembly (~$200.00). This returned the dishwasher to its original, mostly unusable state! After functioning (somewhat) for a few days, we are no longer able to start a cycle. All other switches operate easily. My decision to buy this dishwasher was informed by my past experience with Frigidaire products. Our entire kitchen was originally equipped with Frigidaire components; including a dual convection Professional Series wall oven, Gallery series gas stovetop and dishwasher. After almost 14 years of service I had to rebuild the ovens and also decided to replace the stovetop and dishwasher, Again, keeping with the Gallery series. For this 'high-end" dishwasher to fail within 18 months (effectively unusable out of the box) is a huge disappointment to say the least! Do NOT buy this model dishwasher!

    This dishwasher had failed a few times and now repairman said it needs several new parts that would cost almost as much as the unit cost. Going to have to replace this one after 4.5 years. I would not recommend this dishwasher. I am going to replace with a GE better model.

    HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT

    Control panel starting acting up at 2 yrs after purchase. 5+ yrs, later, panel didn't work at all. Called Frigidaire but no help there. Repair cost roughly the equivalent of new dishwasher. After research found not uncommon. Replaced with Maytag. My relative has a Maytag, is 15 yrs old and still works great! Did work well for 1st couple yrs, but a dishwasher should last longer. Ergo, HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT.. was nice looking and fit my dishes/glasses well.

    New Dishwasher

    I purchased this dishwasher based on design, price and customer reviews. The dishwasher did a great job cleaning the dishes. That is where it ends. The first problem I noticed was a "stench" always coming from inside the dishwasher. The second was there was water/condensation still in the dishwasher after "heat dry." After 12 uses the control panel was fried and needed to be replaced. The technician could not tell me what caused it. I suppose water got into the panel. This is all less than two months from installation. I asked the technician if I should just ask BestBuy to take it back ." He told me forget it! Its not going to happen.
