This dishwasher was purchased in 2015. Repair to replace a control board assembly totalled $400.00 in 2016. Two months later Electrolux replaced the unit (same appliance). Now, in 2020, it needs to be replaced because the the dishwasher needs a new heating element that could cost close to $500.

In June of 2015 we needed a new dishwasher and wanted to try a Frigedaire Gallery because it had a Smudge Proof Stainless Steel finish. Our thought was we would then go with Frigedaire Gallery for the rest of the kitchen. Big mistake. We ended up abandoning the machine with another year left in its extended warrantee. Here is why. After numerous problems/repairman visits, the original machine was replaced after 3 months in September of 2015 with a new one. Since we have the second machine, we have had the repairman to our home approximately 10 times – mostly dishes not cleaning and timer issues. The final straw was the dishwasher making a groaning noise/water running when the door was open! Because it could not be turned off or un-plugged due to hard wiring, it necessitated us cutting power to half of our kitchen. Each time it had a problem, we would be without a dishwasher for about 2 weeks in that the warrantee company would come out to diagnose the problem and then have to come back with parts. This last time we pushed to get another replacement, only to be referred to the small print in our warrantee contract. That night we went and bought a Kitchen Aide.

I wish , as many have said, I would have read the negative reviews. This dishwasher looks great and seems ok . The inside is cheap and clunky but I was gonna work with that . Problem is it doesn’t clean dishes anywhere near as well as our previous washer which was a kenmore I believe, had it for 12 years and cleaned dishes well and left them bone dry. This unit even on Sahara setting and with jet dry leaves dishes wet and worst of all my kids won’t drink out of any glasses till we hand wash them ( ok I won’t either ) because the unit leaves crud in the glasses . I have seen other reviews on this unit saying the same. We are about to junk it and get a better unit . Very disappointed in this one .

This dishwasher has been a disappointment. We had to essentially pre-wash dishes before putting them in to prevent food particles from being permanently stuck on. We had problems with the soap door not consistently opening and, when it did, heavy soap residue build-up. The unit leaked sporadically with no clear cause. It started making a loud chirping sound after about a year, and now it is dead not much later.

I bought this dishwasher a couple of years ago, and although it looks great, it was a terrible purchase. I have to pre-scrub everything to have any chance of it coming out clean. It doesn't dry any of the dishes well, and plastic items remain soaking wet. Now, it has developed a loud whooshing whine when operating and even though it's not old, I'm thinking of buying a different dishwasher rather than throwing good money after bad and paying to have it repaired.

I have always found Frigidaire brand products to be very nice. I purchased this Dishwasher in April after purchasing a new home. The wife wanted new stainless appliances, so we purchased the whole kitchen set. Well the dishwasher definitely cleans the dishes as expected, but what I didn't expect was for there to be water still in the washer and all over the dishes once the cycle completed. The dishes still be completely wet.

We had this dishwashier delivered. Everything went smooth. My father-in-law (a plumber) installed the dishwasher. We used it one time and the dishes came out super clean. We were very impressed until the latch broke after its first use. When we called for help we were given the run around. Finally we went to the store, where we were left waiting around for an hour while the sweet helpful geek squad employee tried to help. We were unable to exchange or return because the invoice wasn't handled properly. Now that we have had enough we were told we could return (no one knows when) and get a store credit. This whole situation was terrible and I will not buy appliances from best buy again!

Bought this dishwasher to match the other appliances and has been a headache. We call it the dish dirtier as the dishes come out dirtier after being washed. Have tried everything to improve the performance, to no avail. Recently an i30 showed up, thank goodness I was home as the pump runs continuously. Had to shut the breaker off. Just glad I wasn’t out of the house as could easily catch fire. This is a hazard and should be recalled. Needless to say I’m viewing this as a fatal error and will replace.

It's happened just before Christmas, two times in a row now. And no one is available to fix it until after the holidays. And it's the same thing both years: the electronic panel. So, after having to spend $$ at the worst time of year possible TWICE now for a dishwasher we just got a year and a half ago, we also get to wait about a month for it to get fixed. That means no dishwasher, when everyone is here for the holidays and dishes get used the most. I think I will avoid Frigidaire as a brand from now on.

At the end of the cycle a condesate develops and leaks from the corners of the dishwasher every time. Geek squad came out 4 times and couldn't do anything. Had the dishwasher replaced and it did the same thing. It's a definite design flaw.

Starter switch failed within two weeks. Machine leaked, then stopped working entirely in less than 2 years. Had to buy new dishwasher.

Very disappointing. Did not work well from the beginning. I am older and so I thought I am doing something wrong. Every time I used it i was worried it will not work. Sometimes it did but mostly did not. After two years I called a for service, and was told that the touchpad and sensor system are not working and needs to be replaced. So I paid for a broken dishwasher, installation, and now service man and still don't have working dishwasher. I will not recommend it.

My worst expericnce ever dealing with a big box store. I have been a customer of Best Buy for over 15 years. I bought all my computers, steros, TV's, cell phones and appliances there. NEVER AGAIN! I went to the Best Buy in Reynoldsburg Ohio, to buy my mother a dishwasher and stove. I had to refuse delivery of the stove because it was dented and smashed all over but wait it gets better! I took delivery of the dishwasher it look okay. Later that week I was moving the dishwasher to install and it was full of water. Which went all over my mom's kitchen floor. I am on week 4 and my mom still does not have a stove or dishwasher. I keep getting put off. They are looking into the matter. My mom has not had a stove for 5 WEEKS becuase I threw out her old one the day before because it was trash day. If you buy something at Best But pick it up yourself like I should have done!

Extremely disappointed in this dishwasher. After 18 months of normal use the vent element quit working. I did some online research and discovered this is a common problem. The replacement part is $125, which is more than 1/4 the cost of the dishwasher. Now we are in the position of deciding if we should replace it and risk it fails again, or something else goes wrong, OR purchase an entirely new dishwasher.

Biggest piece of crap I have ever purchased, the dishwasher in Frigidaire Gallery stove both broke at 2 years of ownership I would not recommend this product.

I have this unit. It cleans well but control unit failed under three years out of warranty. Stick with a LG and get a warranty.

We have owned this dishwasher for approx. 6 months and we are on our 3rd service call. The touch pad operating panel stops working. I am also not thrilled with the cleaning of the dishes. I followed the directions for loading and the detergent and still must us the power plus cycle.

I had for 18 months when I noticed the wood floor warping in front. I pulled off the bottom cover and it leaks on the right side, so now after only 18 months I have to buy a new dishwasher and pay to have my floor repaired.

We are another household scheduling the latest in a series of similar issues where we have had the control board replaced multiple times. Once again, we are not able to get any lights on the control board. This will work for varying lengths of time after replacement. I am going to ask for a refund this time. We do not recommend this product.
