We looked a few places, and Best Buy had the largest selection of models on the floor. The salesman was very knowledgeable, helpful, and exerted no pressure. We were able to take our time inspecting the ice makers, drawer configurations, filtration systems, etc... and selected what we felt was the best fridge for our family of four. We have been very happy (have had it for exactly one month now).

There are some normal sounds when the ice maker is operating are the motor running, the ice dropping, the water valve opening and closing, ice loosing from the tray and water running. Even after adjusting for smaller cubes, if even two pieces of ice get stuck together, it will clog the chute, causing a messy backup of ice. Also, after 2.5 years, the evaporator fan went out. Inside the fridge, the drawers are very cheap plastic. One of the plastic edges holding up a glass shelf broke. I would highly recommend not buying this fridge.

Would recommend this fridge to those wanting beauty, function and reasonable price all in one. The lighting is also superb along with the exterior temps easy to read on the outside of the refrigerator.

I had read that it was terrible and it is. It throws ice all over the floor, chips and full pieces. The ice maker is loud when dumping and refilling. We are trying to live with it.
