Q: Recently purchased this fridge and I am finding that the water dispenses warm and not cold. Every fridge I have ever had held a small amount inside the fridge so it was cold when it dispensed. Is this a common issue?

A: Mine is the same way, does not appear to have a cold water reserve tank. Poor design

A: No, It is not cooled. It appears to be tap water temperature.

Q: Would we need to hire a plumber or other person to hook up the water for the ice maker or is it a simple process?

A: If the line is in place from a previous fridge, hooking it up could not be easier. If not, there are simple kits available the will allow you to install a line from underneath the sink. You'll likely have to drill a couple of small holes inside cabinet walls between the sink and fridge. You will need to be able to shut off the water at the meter or at a valve under the sink to tap a supply line. Pretty easy stuff if you don't want the expense of a plumber and are limber enough to work under the sink.

A: The switch is behind the ice container. You need to pull it out and then the switch is actually on the ice maker itself.
