I would not recommend the side by side Gallery to anyone! Open any of the drawers and its like running your fingernails down a chalk board. I wrote to Frigidaire, solution put cooking oil on it.... Really??? For the cost of it you should not have to put cooking oil on the drawers to open them.

I love this refrigerator, everything about it is great!

Someone came out to fix it and ordered a new part. It took 1 month to get the new part installed and the refrigerator side still freezes.

The fridge is pretty and looks great at first! Unfortunately, looks can be deceiving! First the bumpers started falling off after only a month and now everything else is falling apart on the inside. The shelves are breaking left and right and I haven't even had the fridge for not even a year yet. Very disappointing! :(

I have a HUGE issue when installers could have had a part handy to finish the installation to a copper line, but didnt.

I purchased this as a display or open box item. I was told by a manager that it had been a display model but when it was delivered there were several used baggies inside! It was very dirty and smelled bad. It had been used and the water line was broken off. It was obvious a return NOT an open box item. I called to complain but no one was interested. I was offered a $75.00 discount for the trouble which was insulting. The people on the phone simply didn't care. The delivery men were incredible, very helpful, polite, and professional. I refused delivery and now have to start looking all over again. Terribly disappointed.

I purchased displayed items and once it arrived to house, there were more damaged out side of body also broken and missing parts inside. Next time no matter what sale person says, will not purchase display items. bad experience with company and sale rep.

I love all the space in this model, but.... Cons: the door compartments (baskets, whatever you want to call them) fall off! Food goes everywhere. Same in the freezer. The two baskets on the bottom do not fit correctly and fall off (at least they just fall down, not off). The ice comes out so fast and goes everywhere (there is always some on the floor after it dispenses). Pros: The water feature is nice and you only have to replace the filter about once a year. The temperature is great. It always looks clean. It is easy to clean (inside and out). Lots of space.

Nice unit with nice features for the price. However, unit is not maintaining proper temp. Have had service calls but they are still baffled. Would recommend picking a different make than Frigidaire. I figured the Gallery Series might be okay but apparently that is not the case.

Frigidaire seems to be the only brand with finger-proof stainless steel, and for a rental house with a family, this was a key criteria. Best stainless steel fridge for the price. I love the side-by-side set-up, and this new model has cool lights running down the inside front of the fridge and freezer. I chose this slightly upgraded model with glass shelves in the freezer. The fridge does make a brief (3 second), loud noise occasionally, which I think is the ice maker filling up. You need to buy a separate water line when making this purchase (SKU 9089657) $29.99!! I did not, and it was a complete hassle to have to go back to the store to make this purchase and arrange for the installer to come back. I asked the installers which brands are the most reliable/fewest repairs, and they said Frigidaire and LG are the most reliable. They said to avoid Samsung Refrigerators (that Samsung has not figured out how to successfully make refrigerators yet), and to avoid Whirlpool.

Have had my new Refrigerator since Sep18 2015 and love it. Looks beautiful in my kitchen. The Led lighting is great and lots of room in both the freezer and refrigerator. The unit is very quiet. The ice maker and water feature are great and problem free. The Gallery line is a very good product and a great price value. I also purchased the 5 year extended protection plan which was reasonable.

We bought our first Frigidaire 14 yrs at Best Buy and it started going out a couple of weeks ago. After shopping & researching we had it narrowed down to this model of the Frigidaire & a Whirlpool. We decided on another Frigidaire because of reviews on Consumer Reports. It was delivered the day before yesterday and so far, we are disgusted. The ice maker is not working properly. It took over 24 hrs to start producing ice...so we thought maybe that's just standard. Well, now it has a huge "bar" of ice (like instead of small pieces, it's one long solid piece all the way across) stuck in it after only producing 4 cycles of ice. We called GeekSquad and it was going to be approx 3 wks before they could send someone out. Not acceptable. However, Frigidaire is sending someone in 3 days. Also, the freezer will not keep our frozen fruit or ice cream frozen/firm unless it's set on -4 or -6. The delivery people said to set it on 0 but things weren't frozen solid enough. Also, you are forced to take the ice cream shelf off if you want to manually get ice from the tray (poor design!!) Our last Frigidaire had a door on the ice tray you could reach into with a small cup. So with the design of this model# in the Gallery, be prepared to use only the door ice dispenser---but we have yet to be able to get any useable ice since it's not working and you have to throw the first few batches out with the new fridge. The looks of this fridge are super nice & I love the refrigerator side of it. The smudgeproof is so nice! Frigidaire customer service was very nice, concerned & ready to help when I called about the issues. However, if this is not going to be an easy fix, we will have to contact Best Buy for an exchange before our 15 day time period is up. If that happens, we'll be going with the Whirlpool. I expect an appliance like this to last several years, but right now I am NOT confident that's going to happen.
