We love the size and layout of the interior, although I miss the crank-adjustable shelves of our previous model. No problems with the door bins or freezer bins. Delivers water smoothly. Ice is difficult to access from the inside, and occasionally gets jammed in the dispenser, causing an avalanche which goes all over the floor when the jam is cleared - that is, until you're experienced enough to grab a water pitcher before you start clearing it. The stainless steel really is easy to keep looking nice and we always get compliments on it. We wanted an inexpensive, efficient, roomy, and nice-looking refrigerator, and aside from the ice maker, we are completely satisfied.

very pretty especially w/the interior led lighting. Flaws are that the drawers do not slide easily, there are no rollers, just plastic on plastic... and the ice dispenser frequently over fills and keeps dispensing water and ice. I would also like to have more basket space in the freezer instead of two flat shelves. Knowing what I know now, I would probably shop around a little more before buying my next fridge. Also,the compressor makes a rattling noise from time to time.

Shopped a lot of brands, read a lot of reviews and decided to give Fridgidaire a shot. After several months, could not be happier with this US made product. I thought the brand was tired and waining... Not so! This is a top tier, beautifully styled product. The icemaker issue so many people mention is typical for any icemaker I have ever encountered. If you want one cube at a time to dispense, good luck finding a fridge that will meet your wants. This one sometimes dispenses two, sometimes three or four per turn of the screw. So what? Hold the glass up there longer if you need more, toss one in the sink if you obsess for less. I highly recommend this refrigerator. Best buy for the price, no doubt.

My wife and I just had this delivered last Friday, and so far we love it. We picked it because it was big, has a lot of space, and didn't seem to leave those smudges like other stainless steel refrigerators did. We researched models extensively- including on Consumer Reports- and so far this one has delivered on all accounts. We have tons of room for food and condiments. It runs fairly quiet, although one review I read said that it made a loud noise. This is true of ours - about once every few hours (haven't timed it) it makes a fairly loud banging noise, but I'm sure over time we won't notice it. Overall it has been very quiet. One reviewer did talk about the drawers being "garbage". Ours does make an awful squeeling noise when we open them, but I haven't taken the time to figure out if we need to adjust something to stop that. Overall, we love the look of the fridge and the roominess that it has. We're slapping each other on the back with our purchase.

Needed a refrigerator to replace one that was leaking . Ordered this one on line and it was delivered promptly . That was the best part . Got home after the install and the drawers would not pull out smoothly . Apparently its a known issue with Frigidaire (per their customer service rep) . The refrigerator is also really loud and the ice /water dispenser shoots all over the place . Disappointing purchase. Took a month to get the exchange right and we selected a GE Profile . LOVE THE GE PROFILE!

We didn't have much of a choice when it came to purchasing a new refrigerator due to the amount of space we had. Specifically we have a cabinet above our refrigerator space and that left us with almost no options for a new one. (Even shaved off the bottom of the cabinet overhang just to get THIS one to fit.) With that said we were initially excited about this refrigerator. The look, size and options seemed great. The problems we've run into after having it for 5 months are as follows. Its LOUD. It will suddenly start "humming" loud enough that you can hear it in the other room. It doesn't do it all too often but often enough to notice. And then when its making ice....sounds like a brawl broke out amongst the freezers inhabitants. Other than the noise there are other issues. Worst of all is the ice maker getting jammed. We'll go to get some cubes and its trying its best to deliver but the cubes get jammed on the way out. So you'll open the freezer door to address the jam and......ice cubes all over your kitchen floor. I have also had occasions where the lever that you use to dispense water/ice has gotten jammed or stuck in the on position and water and/or ice continued to flow out unintentionally. This causes quite a mess! Other than what I mentioned above we love our refrigerator with all its warts etc. We cant say the thing doesn't have character. We like the digital temperature setting for both the fridge and the freezer. So there's THAT. And that is nice. It looks good too. Next time we go to buy a new fridge we're going to rip out the cabinet above so we can buy a better one.

We bought this product as "out of box" appliance. We've now had it for about a month and it's working like a charm. I especially like that it Keeps fingerprints off! It's kept things very cold and It's got plenty of space. The only thing that I noticed is that ours makes a loud noise when it's making ice. I never heard that from my other fridge but it could be nothing. Otherwise, I do recommend this product

I purchased this fridge a couple months ago to replace a very similar Fridgidaire unit that I bought in 2003. I'm very happy with the unit. It looks great and the price point is very good compared to competing models.

DO NOT BUY THIS REFRIGERATOR! This is the least reliable and most poorly designed appliance we have ever owned. Frigidaire doesn't care, is a nightmare to deal with and won't stand behind their products. This is a Lemon! I have an extended warranty and Frigidaire won't pay for a rental while I wait 9 days to 3 weeks for the refrigerator to be fixed. The refrigerator stopped working completely after 15 months. The ice maker was replaced in the first year. The ice maker was serviced 4 times and still doesn't work correctly. The ice maker spills large quantities of ice all over the freezer. The repairman told me it was a design flaw and can't be corrected.

This is a very poorly designed fridge. The drawers are stacked on top of each other so they are very hard to open and make an awful squeaking noise. The glass shelves didn't lay flat and the shelving was uneven. Very disappointed with this fridge

Love the fridge (always keeps up with ice production for a family that uses a LOT of ice), the protection plan stinks. I've had this fridge for almost 5 years and I'm very happy. Our previous fridge was LG and it had nothing but problems. However, my LG was purchased at Sears and their extended warranty covered EVERYTHING! I wanted something different for my next fridge and I'd heard great things about Best Buy, so I went there and found a great fridge. No issues with my Frigidaire until now. And those issues are minor: couple of cracked shelves and the display has one LED not working. I got the extended warranty when I bought the fridge. The display is covered and will be replaced by the Geek Squad. However (and this is really stupid) the shelves are considered cosmetic and are therefore not covered! Can you believe it? Cosmetic? It's the gallon bin and a shelf that holds a drawer! How are those considered cosmetic and not necessary?! Why is it so freaking hard to find a fridge AND an extended warranty that works! I'm not blaming the Geek Squad techs who came out, they were great. I AM blaming Best Buy warranty underwriters for thinking that SHELVES AND BINS ARE COSMETIC! SO STUPID!

Great fridge! Easy hookup, love the amount of space provided! The fridge is very quiet and has great lighting!

Buyer Beware I purchased the Frigidaire model FGHS2655PF recently and expected it to perform well after reading all the reviews on this site and a few other sites. Overall the unit looked good and has some attractive features. The big problem I had was that the cooling system created some loud popping noises every 1-2 hours. It sounded like popcorn being made in the freezer compartment which lasted for about 10 seconds. I did some research and found a few other frig owners experiencing the same problem. My understanding is that the expansion of gas in the evaporator tubes was causing bubbles of coolant to pop. VERY annoying when it lasts for 5-10 seconds. (BTW - this problem is NOT related to the ice maker being hooked up to the water line. Mine was hooked up properly) I liked the overall unit but did not want to take the risk arguing with Frigidaire for a fix. I exchanged the unit for a different brand and model.

My family builds 30+ homes a year and have always used Kenmore appliances. We decided to try Frigidaire Gallery line in our house to see how they work and maybe switch over. We will not be switching over. The ice dispenser jams 8 our of 10 times. It's so annoying we actually bought a counter top ice maker and turned the Frigidaire one off. How can you design something that fails 80% of the time. I would HIGHLY recommend looking at other products first.

Very happy with the refrigerator after using it for some months. Smudge proof finish makes it easier to keep it clean. It will scratch, but so will just about another finish.

I purchased his refrigerator 1 1/2 years ago as part of a package and I wish I had upgraded for the better fridge because the ice maker is terrible and it constantly jams up. However, if it doesn't jam then it spews out ice everywhere. Also the water spout is too close to the front of the dispenser and if you are not careful the water will also go all over the place. I actually keep a towel folded up on the dispenser shelf to catch the water and ice. Another disappointment is that the water filters are very expensive ($30-40 each) not to mention the air filter which runs about $18 a piece. I ended up purchasing knock off brands to cut the cost down but you are still paying about $70-100/year on filters as they also need to get changed every 6 months.

If you want a perfect fridge, wait for the afterlife! But after a week, i am very pleased with this one. Space, cooling, controls and ice rock with this machine. It replaces a 15yo GE side by side which was a good buy- but this is a WAY step up! Kudos to Best Buy for total satisfaction!

Best buy just delivered a fourth fridge today. All three previous fridges were extremely loud and annoying. Two of the fridges water sprayed everywhere because the plastic tube wasn't pulled through the spout. The fridge they delivered today has a dent. I wouldn't recommend this fridge to my worst enemy. Best Buy might be replacing are whole kitchen suite. Fridgedaire supposedly doesn't put a bearing on the shaft for the compressor and fan because they are too cheap. I would give this fridge zero stars if I could. Junk.

The ice maker keeps plugging up and then dumps it all out at once making a mess in the floor. I have to grab a big bowl in a hurry when this happens. The Ice maker was replaced under warranty, but it seems that was not the problem. I suspect a poor design in the delivery portion in the door or ice storage bin. Love the refrigerator, except for the ice maker.
