Barbara Kiss is lively, fun and has not only a beautiful voice, but also a fantastic video presence (my 70-year old mother pronounced her "Catch Me" video "Darling!"). "Catch Me" is a peppy pop song that has all the makings of a top-40 hit (and could really give Taylor Swift a run for her money!), while "Perfect Night" is the perfect song for clubbing. My favorite track is her beautiful ballad "Your Smile." Kiss, who is from Pecs, Hungary has worked with artists as diverse as rapper Illa Scorsese (on "Sleeping Beauty" for his album, The Unauthorized Biography) , flamenco guitarist/producer Marcus Nand (who wrote and produced "Catch Me"), Chris Wozner, and Krisitan Nord. She has an inspiring life story (check out her bio on her website) and a drive to succeed! Give the album a listen, and you'll find yourself singing along in no time!
