This lens is amazing! It's clear and sharp... and the camera focuses amazingly fast. The images are true.
The only issue with this lens is the weight. It's almost all metal construction makes this lens durable and of high quality but certainly adds weight. My X-T2 is very light and compact compared to others digital cameras so it's not as big of a deal.

I love/hate this lens! The image quality is fantastic- super sharp, quick autofocus, but it's quite heavy. I use it for outdoor photography and while I am hiking. It's a lot of weight in my backpack, or around my neck or on my arm while in use, but I love the pictures I am able to get with it. Very sharp for a zoom lens.

Love this lens! Very very sharp!!
I own a Fuji xT1. I wanted to use it for sports mainly. I tried it for flag football, lacrosse and baseball w/fantastic results!! Pics were so sharp!! But it is because of my xT1, NOT the lens, that (for sports reasons only) I will remain w/Nikon a little bit longer. I use my Fuji for life in general w/some of their primes and am hooked!! Love their files!! I am hoping if not w/the xT2, then w/the xT3 to be ALL in w/Fuji and will no doubt repurchase this lens!! I'm very used to shooting Canons 70-200 2.8 ii and Nikons same version, and the size of Fujis was pretty cool :) They're just fun! And as a gauge, I was getting 65-70% keepers w xT1 when shooting the faster sports, baseball I got more. I get 85-95% w/Nikon w/all sports. It's not far off, and I can't wait to fully switch!!
Also the noise some complained about, it's a bummer that's all they could write about. It's not even a point for me. It's very light and real world shooting makes it non-existent, I honestly forgot about it even existing!! I heard it 1st night I purchased lens as I bought it close to closing and when got home all was silent. That's only time I recall hearing it. The lens is fantastic, that's a silly reason to not buy it, imho :) I look fwd to it again in future no doubt!!!

This is quite a bulky lens, but for sport and wildlife photos it is perfect. Weather resistance is nice too. The fixed aperture gives the right amount of bokeh for my needs.

The Fuji XF 50-140f2.8 is a Pro level lens, every bit as capable as any 70-200mmf2.8 by Canon or Nikon. Blazing AF, unbeatable image quality make this a must have for any enthusiast or pro using the Fujifilm X system. I had a Nikon 70-200 with VRII, and I truly believe this lens exceeds it!

Solid, fast, light is the big advantage of this telezoom lense. The image quality is superb and focusing speed is quite match with Canon or Nikon's 70-200 f2.8 Minor issues is the hissing noise when the motor is at work. Overall experience is positive and plus.

Bought this for my X-T2 and it had been an incredible addition to my gear bag. The lens is quick, very sharp and accurate. For sports, it really excels outdoors but a little slow indoors so watch your lighting.

This lens is heavy, big, and expensive, but it has excellent image quality, tight weather sealed build, fast f/2.8 aperture. Optically it's very good already wide open, with only slightly softer corners.

Out of all of my Fuji lenses (I have almost all of them) this lens produces the sharpest images. I consistently turn sharpening down while editing. It definitely stands up to its 70-200 competition. Image stabilization works amazingly well. No complaints here! This is a must have lens for any professional photographer using a Fujifilm kit.

I like the photos produced by this lens. It was a little too heavy for me. Also there was a little play in the lens mount that I did not like. I checked on line to see if others had expirenced the same problem and found that to be true. I purchased the 56mm f1.2 and returned the zoom 50-140 to Bestbuy.

This lens is absolutely amazing. The picture quality is as sharp as Fujifilm's prime lenses and the optical image stabilization works like a charm. Highly recommended if you are shooting in Fuji x mount format and are looking for a fast zoom lens.

I like the focal lengths and fixed aperature, but it was at a very high price. If you can afford it, then do it.
