This is one of the best military war movie ever if you haven't seen it what are you waiting for

Tried to watch this for years. I watched this and even though it was hard to watch it at times I really loved it. It's one of my favorite now.

If you like Kubrick you won't be disappointed in this film. Even if you don't like war movies I would still watch the first half of the movie. The first half is basic training and it's unbelievably hilarious. A lot of it was improv and makes for many funny and uncomfortable situations.

This movie has a different take on humor, but if you don't mind the profound sense of vocabulary, you will definitely get a kick out of it.

Great movie based on the book The Short Timers. Stanley Kubrick directed the movie. The characters are unforgettable.
