Controller price and underside buttons make this controller worth it. However, The d-pad is awful. Too many mis clicks and it’s mushy instead of a snappy. Very often a press in one direction also triggers one of the adjacent buttons. Would not purchase again. Mic connection is also terrible. You need to turn mic monitoring down all the way in order to not hear your own voice echo. This can make it hard for people in your own party to hear your voice.

This controller replaced my aging elite series one controller. Basically the same size as the xbox controller. Software was easy to download and super easy to map the rear buttons. The only downside is thr dpad is sub par and has caused a few miss clicks.

One of the best controllers i have ever used. Comparing this to my xbox elite s2 controller is like comparing the og duke controller to the standard xbox controller today.

One of the best controllers in the game right now at any price point, let alone the low sub $100 price point its in. You have to hold it in your hand to understand just how well built it is. Definitely recommend it.

I bought a Cyclone 2 before this and was so thrilled with it that I bought this one shortly after. So far, having had it for about 2 months, there are two major quality issues: 1) From day 1, the d-pad is very loose, and it regularly registers multiple directions (e.g., you push up, and it registers up and right). You can make some changes in the software to limit this double-registration, but even so I would class it as functionally unusable for any d-pad heavy games (fighters, platformers, etc.) I mostly play shooters, so this wasn't actually a deal breaker for me, but it is the worst-feeling Dpad I have ever used. 2) One of the main features I initially loved about this controller was the trigger stops. 2 months into owning it, the one on my right trigger has broken, and now with the trigger stop active, the right trigger only registers about half the time. This obviously makes the feature useless (it's pretty important in shooters that your trigger actually...shoots). Without the trigger stop, the right trigger still works, so the controller itself is not fully useless, but it's sad to lose one of my favorite features so quickly. And if you search "g7 pro trigger issue" online, you will find lots of people who have had these replaced multiple times because of this issue only to have it happen again. It's clearly a design flaw Gamesir need to fix in their build process, not a one-off bad item. Honestly, I can't recommend this controller. Even though it has some features on paper that make it seem better than the Cyclone 2, in practice, it's a major downgrade in component quality for more money. Which is really disappointing.

All the bells and whistles. Personally, not a fan of the back buttons, I think they are a little too sensitive. So I keep them locked since I don't use them. I gotta say that's my ONLY complaint. Everything else about this remote is worth every penny and then some.

This is a good controller amazinh feels high quality and enjoy the gaming with it. Love the charging statuon the quick connect taking it off the dock and the custimaztion you can do with this thing. Well worth the buy.
