    Horrible Experience With Connection

I bought this controller to use on PC. I have spent hours attempting to get it to work. I don't believe a controller should be this hard to use. It should work straight out of the box. Plug and play. This is quite literally the opposite. I finally connected it by hitting the reset button, just to find out it refuses to connect the next time I turned on my PC. This controller is unusable without the Gamesir Nexus App in the Windows Store. However, this app refuses to connect my controller. I have tried both wired and wireless connection. The controller does not turn on if I plug it in via wire connection. When attempting a wireless connection, the controller appears on my Nexus app, but it will not allow me to select it. Overall, I think the quality of this controller is nice. It reminds me of a Xbox Elite Controller, but better. However, this controller has brought me too much stress. I wish I wasn't having connection issues because I truly was excited for this controller.

    Sweet Controller

I’ve bounced around the “pro” controller market for a few years now, having had the Wolverine V3 Pro, Nacon Revolution 5, Xbox Elite, and many others. This one scratches just the right spot. Not super expensive, and just a great quality for PC. I haven’t tried this controller on Xbox, but I’ve ran wired on PC and achieved 1000hz polling rate on gamepad tester. My only complaint is the d pad. It works well, however, the feel isn’t great. It’s definitely the cheapest component of the controller. This is a small complaint. Overall, the reviews speak for themselves on the G7 Pro. Excellent product.

    Dethrones Other “Premium” Controllers

It’s a surprisingly premium feelings controller for the money to a point I really don’t know why you would bother with those $150+ ones. It has a nice weight to it and the sticks and buttons all feel very tactile and responsive. My only real nitpick is the dpad, while perfectly functional, just has this slightly hollow feeling plastic that just feels a bit cheap to the touch but to be fair that could just be me being picky. Overall an excellent choice if you want a solid controller for your PC or Xbox if that’s still your thing. Not to mention the software on PC is very robust and lets you dial in pretty much whatever settings you want to match your preferences.

Worth it for triggers/sticks that refuse to break

Got one for me and my son(6yrs old), really nice since it’s meant to last since the sticks and triggers have that new tech, buttons feel clicky and nice, also the 4 extra buttons are great too, my sons skill has gone up from the ease of this controller.

The Worst D-Pad and Customer Support

This thing is a massive piece of garbage that I would recommend to absolutely nobody. I'm not sure how this got onto so many "best of" controller lists and sites (well, I actually am sure: SEO tactics, astroturfing, fake reviews, and bribing easily influenced people to post on social media for free stuff). Outside of having the worst d-pad in the history of controllers (seriously, I think a NES MadCatz controller you found under a couch that you'd only give to a third cousin has a higher quality d-pad). The controller started having issues within 1 month of purchase. The B button would register double inputs or not read properly at all. Then the controller wouldn't connect via wired connection at all. The worst part of all of this is the "customer service" GameSir provides. If you attempt to contact them like a normal person through their email, they will make you jump through a bunch of hoops before they even tell you that they actually don't offer support through traditional means - instead you have to send them at least 2 or 3 emails then they will tell you to join their Discord (this is a classic tactic - delaying so you miss your refund window through regular retailers and then have to deal with their customer support/warranty service + hoping the customer gives up rather than go through the customer support process twice) This is poorly moderated, filled with trolls, and even when you provide all of the proper information and proof they might still decide to reject it for no reason. They obviously don't stand by or believe in the quality of their product. So if you want a broken piece of plastic that even the company themselves won't stand behind, then the GameSir G7 Pro is for you!

    Best controller for Xbox

Literally the best controller money can buy for Xbox. Amazing price for pro controller that will LAST. Especially for FPS games, One negative is the dpad. If you play fighting games or games that require you use the dpad for precise inputs I would do the O-ring mod which is putting small rubber rings in the dpad. you can order on amazon. Also first time using a controller with 2 extra BUMPER buttons and its literally been so useful. Also only ps5 kontrol freeks fit on this, the xbox ones are too small!

Very clicky buttons which sound amazing, zero-stick drift, and super-fast input. Only problem is durability.

Great controller, however I think the T4 Kaleid had a much better d-pad. I tried all the swappable d-pads, and ironically the circle seems the most responsive. Besides the d-pad, this is still the best controller I have ever used!

Best controller you can get so long as dpad isn't important to you. The dpad is serviceable but still below average, lots of wobble to its movement. Every other aspect of the controller is top notch.

This is the best controller you can get for the money in 2025. Only complaint I have is that it’s not compatible with switch or ps5, and to use it on Xbox it has to be wired.
