I’ve been gaming with the GameSir G7 Pro for a few weeks now, and I’m genuinely impressed with how it performs — especially for the price. Right out of the box you can feel the premium build quality in your hands, with textured grips that sit comfortably even during long sessions. The tri-mode connectivity is super convenient — whether I’m gaming on PC, Xbox (wired), or Android, it switches seamlessly. I also love the fact that I experience no stick drift while playing.

Looks and feels great. The textured handled allows for good grip and the click of the buttons leaves you no doubt. Have had zero regrets since purchasing.

This controller is great, comfortable, doesn't get all gross, and it does everything as it says on the box. Only complaints are that the pause and select buttons are positions slightly differently, and lack of wireless connectivity directly to my Xbox Series X. The face plate comes off so cleaning will be easy when necessary.The sticks and triggers are super responsive.

Another great controller that gamesir has recently released. This is a top contender for console players looking for a cheaper alternative to the wolverine v3 pro and elite series 2. I would recommend getting the best buy protection plan to cover the product in case you get drift or button malfunctions. The gamepad is comfortable and i csn use it for hours without any hand fatigue. It doesnt feel quite as premium as the elite series controllers but am ok with it. This is a controller that comes with a dongle but the wireless version is only available on PC. If you need wireless, I would suggest the series 2 or v3 pro pads. Other thab that, you most likely be satisfied with this purchase and make sure to get that protection plan so that you can game worry free in case something happens.

I rarely write reviews, but I feel compelled here to do so. This controller is very good. I am primarily a mouse & keyboard player. Yes, I am a PC gamer. I bought this to replace an Xbox Elite Series 2, the expensive one. That one suffered "left shoulder button" failure, which seems to be somewhat of a common issue. Back to this guy, the GameSir. It feels of quality. It has proper heft to it. The software is proper. The buttons feel very, very good, well, most them. I did tons of research. This controller never got stellar reviews. The complaint was always the same, the "D-pad." The complaint being that it is too sensitive. I find those complaints most valid. There is absolutely no resistance to it. If you breath too hard on it, it will acutuate. Kidding of course. Some say that you can re-map to the back buttons. Of course that means that you will lose two buttons. My second complaint. The buttons under the controller are very tactile, and they feel good. I never use them. My former controller had 4. In this case I feel the placement is off. I press them all the time. So basically, if you use the "D-pad" frequently in games, avoid this one. I'm giving it four stars because everything else about it is fantastic. Maybe they can fix this with software fixes. I hope so.

Awesome pro controller that rivals, and can arguably outclass the xbox elite controller. The clicky buttons, triggers and dpad are amazing. The hall effect sticks are great. Only small nitpick, the sticks do sound a teeny bit hollow. Unsure what causes that. The removable face place, grips and dpad are so easy and accessible to use. Charging dock is awesome, disconnects when put on it and reconnect when you take it off. The best controller ive used from any company.

Best controller by far for the price. Just had the best experience using it for a couple of weeks feels great without getting stick drift a week after buying a controller. Awesome controller !!

Got this to replace my Xbox Elite. I just got sick of the stick drift with the Xbox Elite. Had 3 and all with the same problem. I have had this controller for 30 days now. I love it.. I appreciate the extra mappable buttons on the front. I also appreciate the feel.. It’s probably the best controller I’ve used that wasn’t Microsoft or Xbox related. If you’re on the fence about it.. give it a try.

As an owner of both versions of the Xbox Elite controller, I can easily say that this controller out performs both of them for a lot less. I can't speak for longevity yet, but Gamesir Pro feels well made and solid. It feels great in the hands and plays like a dream. Highly recommended!

Also the best Xbox controller on the market. Had my first one for a month and the toggle on the right trigger eventually stuttered when playing FPS. I play 3-4 times a week, so nothing insane and not hard on my electronics. Returned it and going to try it one more time. Besides the right trigger failing when toggled, everything else is amazing. Grip, joy sticks, and button reaction. If they fix the right trigger, 5 stars no question,

But for what you’re paying, the overall quality is genuinely impressive. The materials feel durable, the buttons are crisp, and everything has a tight, responsive feel that holds up during longer gaming sessions. For context, I’ve owned probably 8–10 Elite Series 2 controllers over time, and unfortunately, stick drift has been a recurring issue with nearly all of them. It got to the point where they became unusable in the competitive games I play, which is beyond frustrating considering their price. That experience made me a lot more critical when trying alternatives. With the G7 Pro, I’ve been really impressed by the responsiveness and consistency. Inputs feel quick and reliable, and the controller holds up well under fast-paced, competitive gameplay. The feedback it provides—whether through vibration or overall tactile response—also stands out. It feels dialed in and satisfying without being overwhelming. At the end of the day, while it may not carry the same branding or price as high-end pro controllers, this is easily one of the best bang-for-your-buck options out there for console gaming. If you’re looking for something reliable, responsive, and well-built without spending a fortune, the GameSir G7 Pro is absolutely worth considering.

I've never endorsed third-party controllers. The cheap ones are often cheap for a reason, and the overly expensive ones tend to just be gimmicks with no substance. However, I was looking to replace my Xbox controller (for my PC) and decided to look and see what the best-rated PC controller was. To my surprise, it was no longer the standard Xbox controller... But this! And reading a bit more into it, I decided to give it a shot. It's not much more expensive than your standard Xbox controller, but it certainly FEELS better. Standard Xbox controllers were always rather plastic-feeling. But they worked easily and felt good in the hand. The G7 Pro still feels great, but it has a much better feel to it. Has a good weight, a rechargeable battery, an included dock, and even an interchangeable d-pad. I swapped mine right away... The round one it has installed out of the box wasn't my cup of tea. Though the real quality comes from the buttons. Wonderfully clicky microswitches on the buttons. I always appreciate good microswitches! As for the added features? The 4 additional buttons and the trigger toggles? I'll never use them. But they don't get in the way. You can lock the two buttons on the back so as not to press them; the two extra shoulder buttons are out of the way and not an issue, and the trigger switches can be easily ignored. I'll take the full trigger press like normal. So, yeah. Fully recommended for anyone looking for a quality controller without the quality price point. Good on you, GameSir.

I’ve been using the GameSir G7 Pro mainly on PC and it has been excellent so far. The controller feels very solid and comfortable in the hands, similar to an Xbox controller but with some nice extra features. The sticks are very smooth and precise, and the triggers feel great for racing and shooter games. What I like the most is the responsiveness. On PC it supports a very high polling rate, so inputs feel extremely fast and accurate. I’ve been using it for several games and it performs perfectly every time. For the price, it’s definitely one of the best controllers I’ve used.

i always only used the elite series 2 but i read a bunch of reviews and everything pointed to this being a great controller so i took the chance and bought it and it feels great and I'm rough on controllers and just like this advertises so far no stick drift

Great controller. Love the button feels and light weight. I think I like it even batter than the xbox elite 2 controller. It's lighter and have same amount of buttons. I think it has to be wire connected with xbox so that is one downside.

Smooth sticks. Love the hair trigger feature. Quick response. It's a bit fatter than other controllers, but once you get used to it, it feels great in your hands.

Best controller I have. From the buttons to the reaction the 1000 polling on pc is amazing and for the price. It beats out my razor v3 out of the box

I have bought this solely to use on pc. Feels like a stock xbox controller shape. Took a while to get used to coming from PlayStation dualsense edge as my favorite shape, but was well worth the convenience. The performance is great, I tested the polling rate, and thumbstick drift amount with dedicated software and everything was as stated. The sofware was good and has everything I could need to tweak. The buttons are all tactile, and feel like quiet mouse clicks. It has nice rumble feel which is in the body and also separate ones in the triggers which can be paired together in software that felt good in single player games. Semi-flush backbuttons were also good, and can be locked when not in use. There’s a mute button on the bottom next to a connection button and 3.5 jack. The dock is good although, the led bar is very bright in my opinion, but can be disabled in software. My only complaint is on one of the face buttons when pressed in, was rubbing against the removable faceplate which made a slight squeaking noise, so I needed to sand the button opening a bit to fix. The dpad comes with a couple different inserts, is very light and can accidentally misclick so it might not be best for fighting games. Overall very satisfied and every game I play with it has exceeded my expectations especially with the knowledge the thumsticks should remain reliable with little to no dead zone for sensitive movements.

Great controller. No stick drift as advertised and the software is better than most. Its mostly on the sensitive time so it may take some time to adjust to for games that require precise movements, but besides that definitely works as a controller should.
