Don't really need a 'dash cam' but the sale price was attractive and I thought 'what the heck'! I own quite a few Garmin products and their quality impresses me. So too, with the Dash Cam.

I have to say that I love my Garmin Dash Cam 20. Just having it makes me feel safer when I drive. I even left it in the car when my car went in for warranty repairs and was able to review every time they drove it! I think getting a bigger memory card is important but be sure to get the CLASS 10!!!! If you get anything besides a CLASS 10 your dash cam can start freezing on you. Mine was freezing and after a couple calls to Garmin we figured out it was the non class 10 memory card and installed a class 10 and it hasn't done it since.

The Garmin dash cam works great. It's easy to set up and I feel like it acts as an additional safety factor for me out on the road.

I am very happy with this purchase. I initially went with a cheap version of the camera and yikes. This camera has not failed me in the past few months of ownership. Easy to operate and the playback is not bad. If I had to pick on the item, it would be like other suction cup mounts on the windshield in Fla. If it gets too hot, it may come off your windshield. Anyway, I think this is a great quality camera and may save my bacon down the road should I witness or be in a mishap.

Actually, this is my second review that I'm writing on the dash cam, a month after purchasing. Does it work as described, yes it does. I suggest more memory, but the 4GB works fine with 2 hours of recording. Make sure power is off when removing the mini SD card or you'll smoke it. The panoramic view is good, move the camera up so it just catches the end of your hood, give you more coverage. Since I don't do a lot of night driving I can't comment on night time video.

Good resolution, but should be easier to attach and detach from windshield.

Great buy for the money. Works well in day and night. It paid for itself in the first week by saving the he said she said at the accident. A MUST for any professional driver.

its designed to "hang down" from suction cup suspenders arm. So you can't attach the suction cup to the bottom of your window, which is what I needed to do.

My Garmin GPS is marvelous and saves the day when you do not know where you are going. I named her "LUCY" and I talk to her and thank her for every turn she gives me. Also if you are looking for a particular business, Lucy knows. Just punch in the name and Lucy tells you how far away and how to get there. I cannot fathom how I got along all these years without Lucy. I highly recommend this unit.

My Son requested this product for Christmas and absolutely loves it. He says that the quality is crisp and clear.

I have no real complaints so far, it was a little tricky with a MacBook but got it figured out after 10 minutes.
