The day and night shot is great. Just don't watch them on the small LCD or you might think the quality is terrible. The heads up alert is also a great feature. I live in CA and the heat hasn't done any damage to it.

Good But Could Be Better
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have had this a couple days now and it works fine but the one thing that is sort of annoying/distracting is that, when the screen times out and goes dark, it's not really. In the early morning, when it's dark you can actually see what it's recording and when it's bright during the day, you can see the shadow of it.

The screen is a good size and is extremely clear. I like that there is a camera function since I bought this for my dad, and he doesn't have a smart phone. I like that it auto records as it turns on and auto saves when there is a big jolt to the device. So if you get in an accident, the video feed auto saves in an event folder to ensure it will not get overwritten when the memory runs out.

Other than that I have no complaints.
