This works great. I upgraded the memory since it wraps quickly when on a long trip and overwrites the older videos. I have seen comments from others struggling with viewing the video on their phones. I ended up disabling the cell service on my phone since the camera connects via Bluetooth when I want to view the videos and then turn it back on when I’m done.

Works great. Easy to setup. Much easier than the original brand X purchased at Best Buy. Gives lane departure warnings and warnings that you’re driving too close to the vehicle in front of you. I recommend you purchase a larger memory card. 128 or 256 GB. 16GB does not do much recording unless you’re driving a short distance. I drive for hours at a time on weekends. The mounting magnets were not too effective. I just mounted directly to the glass, not recommended if you can’t park in the shade. Leaving mounted directly to the glass can shorten the life of your device significantly.

Driving crosscountry and felt more confident if anything happens I have a dash camera. So easy to install!

everyone should own a dash cam and this one has an easy menu and quick to get installed.

Great little camera! Gives me piece of mind that if someone causes an accident and tries to blame me, I will have it all on video! Videos are really sharp too! Installed it myself too!

When I initially got this, I was kinda put off by the price of this thing, but the more I used it, I feel like it is worth the price, many of the driver assistance functions are pretty redundant in modern vehicles so I disabled most of them, but I really like the "Go" alert that sounds when cars in front of you are moving, and the red light camera alerts (works when a phone with the Garmin app is connected) are also pretty helpful. It even includes voice commands that allow you to control the camera without touching it. These are just a few of the features this dashcam has, all enclosed in a box just slightly bigger than a car key fob.

My 2nd dash cam from Garmin and not disappointed at all. Keeps my mind at ease when on the road hauling our RV.

It's great to have the security of knowing if I am in an accident, I have visual proof of the incident. Also, it's fun to replay the video of a trip.

This camera is so easy to use. Starts automatically and turns off automatically as well.

This is the third dash cam I've owned over the past 10 years and it is easily the worst. It's been glitchy since day 1. I've had it just a little over a year and recently it finally just froze (see picture) on a startup screen. I've reset it and tried every other suggestion I can find online, but it just won't respond. I've reached out to Garmin several times and they won't exchange it. Sad. This will be the last prof=duct I'll buy of theirs. Steer clear my friends, this ones junk and the company won't stand behind their product.

Great dashcam, works as expected and good price from BestBuy

I am happy. I tried one other camera before, and wasn't. The biggest difference between this Garmin and the competition is the software- which is so good compared to other peoples apps. I mounted mine, to my Rear view mirror, since My windshield is tinted, and didn't want to add anything to the windshield. It also came with 2 mounts, which makes it so easy to swap between vehicles. The magnetic mount, makes swapping a breeze.
