It's a great dash cam.. But the software and app needs to be fine tuned. The app could have been so much more. It just too slow for me. I would have appreciated if the save key would save a clip 30 seconds before I pressed it. For ex. when I see something happen on the street and push save, the saved clip starts from when I pushed the save key and not the actual event. Apart from that pretty reliable. You just have to dig through and extract a clip which can be a pain

Quick and easy setup, picture was clear and sound was great. Best feature is the park warning, keeps me inform when I’m out and about.

What surprised me about this unit is that it sends messages to you once the screen blackens. For example, if you are stopped in traffic the Garmin will beep and will display "Traffic is moving." There are other messages also.

Nice dashcam , its easy to use. Great for road trips....

This dashcam is good but not the best. After 3 months of use, the camera would freeze up and stay on this shutdown screen. Only happens when I enable parking guard mode.

It does the job. It would be nice if it notified of things on side of car. Overall it works

Easy to install, works great!!! It turns on and off by itself. Alerts you of the traffic around you but sometimes gives too much alerts.( those can be turned off) great automatic recording in accidents

Excellent product totally recommended I like that it warns you if you get off the road or are close to a collision, in fact it warns if the traffic is already advancing, highly recommended

Not only great recording, also detects speeding, traffic camera, front collision and lane departure. It is angreat driving companion, but the screen is very small.

Better than I expected ! No cap ! Sleek , functional and easy to operate . Never thought a on budget stereo would totally satisfy me . Crisp, and fully adjustable equalizer that improves any type of music

I have night vision issues this camera helps me realize if I’m going out of the lane by making a sound or if someone else is getting into my lane this is what I use it for it’s good for this.

Works great and comes with a magnetic attachment so the camera can be easily removed and stored out of sight. Setup was quick and easy and the design does not interfere with driving.

Small, easy to install & use. Wifi signal has to be pretty good for Live View & Parking Guard notifications to work. The "Go" Alert is probably the only advanced driver awareness feature that is worthwhile.

Foward collision, lane departure, and traffic going are great features. I was surprised that the dashcam records the whole trip instead of parts of it

The Garmin Dash Cam 47 is a perfect pick for quality and reliability. Despite its petite size(one of the smallest dash cams to include a screen on the back), this entry-level dash cam is loaded with all the basic safety features you need in a dash cam.

Cool camera with cool features but for the price, I feel it should be 4k instead of 1080. I could not make out many license plates while driving. Only if too close for safety or parked could you read them. Used for a few days and returned due to not liking the video quality. Too grainy, even when downloaded and even on my OLED TV, same thing.

Overall very good product except for the slow 30 fps, and the annoying lane departure warning which is way off. Other than that it works great and will come in handy if I ever need to prove something

Excellent dashcam..easily installable..once installed you can forget dropping off in hot summer day
