Lane Departure Warning - Only reads SOLID lines
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We love the many features, BUT ARE DISAPPOINTED "Helpful driver alerts such as forward collision and lane departure warnings" is listed as a feature, BUT the Lane Departure is only over SOLID lines. Broken or “dotted” white lines are used to show the center line between lanes (the most common you see), Solid white or yellow lines are run into far less than DOTTED lines; so why are only SOLID lines read - very misleading as you would need to read solid and dotted to really be a lane departure warning tool. Disappointed because one of the MAIN reasons for selecting this Brand and Model was the Lane Departure feature. . .

So the person who we bought this for does not know how to use. I think you need to be mindful of people who have disabilities and do not have use of internet to look up how to use the camera

Failed it me

At first it worked fine but today (1/16/24) I almost got into a car accident and immediately “saved” video. As soon as I parked, I went to review the footage only to find out that it haven’t been recoding for a while. Contacted customer support and was told to do a master reset, which I did. Hasn’t sold the issue. Contacted CS again and was offered to exchange it for a new one for $99. I am not sure if anyone else has this issue but I guess I have to try other brands out there.

Poor customer support from Garmin
