About after installing, had a near miss and it automatically saved the video of the other driver nearly hitting me. Glad I avoided the accident but the video would have been very useful to show that I was not at fault.

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.If your car uses bluetooth for phone, audio, apple car play (iphine) it will not pair unless you disconnect your phone from your car, otherwise you cannot use the garmin drive app. Also parking mode only works with an active wifi connection. I do like how tiny it is.

However, I could get other reliable brands for it’s half the price. I didn’t like that its minimalistic. Only allows to save 30 seconds of last event. Would be nice to be able to choose between 30 sec or 1 min or 2 min options! Voice commands doesn’t always work flawlessly.

Sometimes it's not connecting to my phone to download the pictures and videos. Definitely needs some software improvement.

Garmin said to buy a certain memory card. So I did. It worked ok for a few months, then it can’t format the card. So I got a different brand memory card that people online said to use. Worked ok for a few weeks. Same thing. Now the lens can’t focus and the video is distorted. Called Garmin. They said no warranty. Same thing with Best Buy’s hotline.

The video quality is good and the app as well. My complaint is it only looks forward and the attachment is semi-permanent with a sticky pad. So there is no moving it between vehicles. Once its attached its there to stay. Everything else is great, video, voice commands and the app for downloading videos.
