This garmin product is great for a discreet interior look, it will beep whenever turning on the car if plugged into usb or cigarette port upon turning on car. The cable is quite long and slim. The only downside for me would be the positioning is hard to tell since you have no way of seeing if you are aligned at a good angle or not.

Compact and easy to use Dashcam youll never notice was there but will remember if you unfortunatley ever get into that situation!

Great dash cam. Small and compact. But if you have a wireless carplay or wireless andoid auto, it would be difficult to connect to the device. But the device itself is fantastic

I have this on constant power in my fuse box. Ever so often I have to reboot it. Other than that, it works great and I like the size because its unnoticeable.

If you leave this plugged into your OBD port it will drain your battery!!!!!! Watch out for that but it records great

This camera is simple but very effective. Has the ability to record sound as well as video. Very easy to install. The downloadable phone app works well and it's pretty easy to see what has been recorded.

Small and compact but records awesome quality videos

Well worth it. Just a few days after installing this dash cam on my moms car it paid for its self after someone rear ended her at a red light. Picture was amazing great quality for the money would recommend 10/10.

Good little camera to have purchased two for front and back windshields on car and has worked flawlessly. Will be buying more for my ohter vehicles.

I bought two of these cams and honestly I am so satisfied with the performance. Total worth every penny spent. Great build quality.

The camera is small and very capable, the interface could use some tweaking but not enough to lower my rating. I highly recommend but for a clean install get the dongle from Dongar Technologies.

I read some bad reviews on this garmin mini dash am; however, I’m glad I went through with the purchase. I’ve had it for a month and a half now and am happy with my purchase. Quality of videos are good.

Overall not bad for emergency reasons but the app is horrible and it has to be reset alot

Very reliable. The only gripe with the product is the companion android app. The app is too slow and glitchy. Otherwise, this is one good small dashcam.

One of the reasons I wanted this dash cam was the automatic video upload to the "Garmin vault". The marketing text says that "Saved videos are stored securely in the online Vault and can be accessed using the Garmin Drive™ app on your compatible smartphone". I thought this meant any video saved to the SD card would automatically be available for 24 hours in the Vault for free, with optional subscription plans available to extend the time. This was the deciding factor for purchasing this particular dash cam. Apparently this feature is not as described because Garmin has different terminology. "Saved videos" is apparently a term that specifically refers to detected incidents and when you use the app/button/voice command to "save" a video. This is not really explained in the marketing for this product, and I would not have purchased this if this were explained clearly. Further, that doesn't even seem to work. I have several "saved videos", and left my car on for 10-15 minutes in the drive way and my Garmin vault is completely empty even though I repeatedly verified that the camera has a strong connection to wifi. Add to that the Garmin app is extremely fickle and does not work reliably ... stay away.
