The cable is quite long and slim. The only downside for me would be the positioning is hard to tell since you have no way of seeing if you are aligned at a good angle or not.

However, I could get other reliable brands for it’s half the price. I didn’t like that its minimalistic. Only allows to save 30 seconds of last event. Would be nice to be able to choose between 30 sec or 1 min or 2 min options! Voice commands doesn’t always work flawlessly.

But if you have a wireless carplay or wireless andoid auto, it would be difficult to connect to the device. But the device itself is fantastic

Instructions are pictures with no words - had to resort to you tube videos which also didnt help. Never was able to format the SD chip or connect to my phone so I returned it. Was told that some are defective
