The camera is small and very capable, the interface could use some tweaking but not enough to lower my rating. I highly recommend but for a clean install get the dongle from Dongar Technologies.

I read some bad reviews on this garmin mini dash am; however, I’m glad I went through with the purchase. I’ve had it for a month and a half now and am happy with my purchase. Quality of videos are good.

Easy to set up and use! However, does not come with a storage card. Wish the box had obvious warnings. Overall, very happy.

It is the perfect size. I like that it has voice recognition and will save photos or videos when needed onto my phone.

Had to return it just because every time to use it I had to connect it to the App, but it has good quality and worth the value we pay for it.

Easy setup and awesome picture and recordings. The only con it has in my opinion is the 1 minute recordings. I’m not sure if you can make it record longer or not but I did not see a way on the app.

One of the reasons I wanted this dash cam was the automatic video upload to the "Garmin vault". The marketing text says that "Saved videos are stored securely in the online Vault and can be accessed using the Garmin Drive™ app on your compatible smartphone". I thought this meant any video saved to the SD card would automatically be available for 24 hours in the Vault for free, with optional subscription plans available to extend the time. This was the deciding factor for purchasing this particular dash cam. Apparently this feature is not as described because Garmin has different terminology. "Saved videos" is apparently a term that specifically refers to detected incidents and when you use the app/button/voice command to "save" a video. This is not really explained in the marketing for this product, and I would not have purchased this if this were explained clearly. Further, that doesn't even seem to work. I have several "saved videos", and left my car on for 10-15 minutes in the drive way and my Garmin vault is completely empty even though I repeatedly verified that the camera has a strong connection to wifi. Add to that the Garmin app is extremely fickle and does not work reliably ... stay away.

supposedly this is a good cam but I could never get it set up nor could one of my kids who own it. Instructions are pictures with no words - had to resort to you tube videos which also didnt help. Never was able to format the SD chip or connect to my phone so I returned it. Was told that some are defective

Fantastic dash camera! Easy to use, great app interface! Plan on putting one in each of my kids’ vehicles as well.

It stays in my car steadily and the pictures and videos are extremely clear even sometimes better than my GoPro

This is a very good dash cam. Its pretty easy to connect to your phone and the video quality is good. The app could use a little work but its not the worst, just a little clunky.

Connection issues to front cam and don't power up. Works good when operating correctly.

Great dashcam! The single press button to record the last minute or so is a nice feature. I did disable the beep in the app as it is quite loud, but overall good. I wish the video quality were better but it’s great for what it is, and truly mini!

As far as quality goes, it does as well as any. Good features in a small package and the cord is plenty long.

I like the size and the voice control. Definitely recommend

It looks well in my Audi Q3. It doesn’t occupy too much space and sits behind the rear mirror so you don’t really see it while inside the car. It serves its purpose.
