It looks well in my Audi Q3. It doesn’t occupy too much space and sits behind the rear mirror so you don’t really see it while inside the car. It serves its purpose.

It's cute, discrete. I like it, I just don't know how to use the app, but that's a me thing and i just gotta learn. Other than that, the machine is great.

This camera worked and I appreciate the size. But I prefer something that is a little easier to use.

Not distracting at all? No monitor screen to distract you while driving. I think that's a plus! Feel safe knowing i have the added view of the road. As added protection.

The Mini 2 has been great so far. I mounted it behind my rear view mirror and cant even see it. Purchased a dongle to wire the unit into my auto dimmer so I have no hanging wires in sight.

Loses connection at times. This is used as a rear window cam. The front is a Garmin Tandem, paired together on the same app. Works well though.

It’s a great dashcam although a bit expensive. The best part about the camera is the size. It’s very low profile and isn’t distracting like the ones with displays.

Middle of the road quality and price. I have one in all three of my cars. The wifi makes it easy to save videos to my phone. The motion sensor catches most close calls. The size is great.

The video quality is great...when if actually captures video. I bought this a few days before I went on a fishing trip which took me on a journey of only about 1.5 hours, and was excited to have a dash cam, since I have experienced many horrible drivers, near collisions, and other random stuff on my prior trips. I installed the dashcam and connected it to my phone, after installing an SD card with more than enough storage room necessary for the trip. Long story short...the ONLY time I needed it to record...it FAILED me. To set the scene, I was coming around a blind corner up in the mountains and while I was looking though the turn to the oncoming lane, my buddy in the passenger seat said "Deer deer deer!" at which point I saw a deer coming into my lane from out of the brush, and I immediately slammed on the brakes. When I say that I narrowly missed the deer, I mean I practically got his hoof prints on my front bumper as he attempted to run away, hoofs on asphalt...as my antilock brakes kept me from careening of into the trees. So I get home and take out the SD card eager to see the crazy thing captured on my brand new dashcam......and....NOTHING!!!!!!!! eff this dashcam. It captured every other gd second, but not the 30 seconds I actually cared about!!! Do NOT buy this piece of st camera. End of rant.

Sorry to hear you've experienced some difficulties. The camera is designed to record in a loop saving these files in the UNSVD folder. This keeps them seperate from the SAVED folder which contains incidents triggered by impact. This impact sensitivity can also be adjusted within the Drive App on your smartphone. I would suspect that an incident wouldnt have been detected by hard braking. The footage would then be in the unsaved folder provided the memory card was large enough to not overwrite it once capacity was reached. The constant loop will save all footage untill the memory card is full then it overwrites the oldest file on the card. For example an 8gb sd will have space for 1.8 hours at 720p, a 64gb sd will have space for 13.8 hours at 720p, and a 512gb sd will have space for up to 110.4 hours at 720p.If you would like us to assist in troubleshooting please start by visiting the Garmin Support Center page here, https://support.garmin.com/en-US/?productID=621281&tab=topics Garmin

So little you can't even tell it's there. The app is easy to use too. It doesn't make too much noise, just beeps when it detects an incident - which could also be driving over a pothole.

I had purchase one for my vehicle, being I had no issues with it, I purchase and additional one for my daughter to put in her Nissan Rogue. The setup was super easy, the videos are super clear with a "timestamp" on the video if an issue should arrive. With todays drivers dealing with so many bicycles "cutting you off" it is a must have in every vehicle. Would make an excellent present to anyone you love dearly.
