It's okay. It's definitely not bad and still a good value for the price. The camera quality could be better, but it's not bad. Doesn't seem 1080p to me though. App has nice features but it's very slow opening the live camera feed and even slower exporting footage over wifi. Better off just popping out the microSD and exporting it from a PC. Installation is easy and long cable allows for easy tucking in headliner, pillar, and under glove compartment. App improvements would push the rating up. Also makes a beep sound whenever it connects, which is at car start up, or whenever it starts recording an event, and that beep is loud.

I like the size of it. I also did not want one with a screen which was a plus. It would not connect to the wifi. I tried to contact Garmin and they were no help

I have been searching for sometime for a dashcam for my Crosstrek with Eyesight. I need something that is simple but has the necessary function but at the same time doesn't look obnoxious. The design itself complement the eyesight and does not distract. The cable length is long enough for me to hide it through the carpet and weather linings.

Easy to use and the resolution is great. I use on dashboard and also works great.

The size is very compact and does what it’s suppose to but everything else is flawed. The app is extremely slow and laggy, always run into issues when trying to view videos or stream. The picture quality is not so great you can only see other cars license plates if you’re literally tail gating which is a no no. I liked the voice activation “Ok Garmin” to take a picture but you have to shout in order to wake it.

the USB would not work in a 2013 auto. The msg rec'd was "not supported" so swapped it out to put in newer car. Once I moved it to the newer car it was no issues getting it set up on the app

Bought Garmin Car Cam as an extra for rear window. Camera work ls perfect for my needs.

Unfortunately this camera does not reliability connect to your phone. I've troubleshoot the camera many times and have yet to have a reliable connection to my phone. It's terrible when you have to attempt to reset the wifi connection while one the road. I am so close to returning it. What's the point of having a camera if it doesnt work?

I really love this dash came. First of all, it's very discreet, you can't even tell you have a dash cam. Second, it does very well in the heat on high temperatures. Third, the app works just great! You can live stream what you see, save videos or even play your videos while your moving. Hands down recommend it. I hope anybody considering it has the same experience as I do. (:

This is the dashcam to get if you want the benefits of having a dashcam without having a large camera in the middle of your windshield. The resolution is good as is the coverage. You can get a mini SD card with enough memory ( 32 or 64 megs works for me) to record for many days without overwriting. The phone app accesses the camera to review and download your recordings. It does the job.
