Great Dash cam i love it and the size is perfect it fits behind my mirror so every thing is hidden

The best way to eliminate the "He Said She Said" great coverage, works great, piece of mind. I have 5 other Garmin Dash Cams and they are right where you need them even when your vehicle is parked, in motion, or at the dealership getting serviced. Saved me more than once because you can't argue footage.

The Garmin mini2 is very easy to use I would buy this again.

Not user friendly, not reliable. My main use was for the parking mode, sometimes it was activated by noises like the train or birds, it didn't bother me but the movement sensor (the important thing) didn't work properly, you literally have to shake/push the car in order to activate it, it didn't record when someone made a big dent in my car while it was parking and I'm pretty sure it moved the car, not enough for the camera tho. The app is a joke, sometimes I had to restart the dashcam to connect it, it's really laborious to see the videos in the app, sometimes it wasn't able to load the 30 seconds videos. The resolution is the worse, you can't see any plates even if the car is close.

Bought as a Xmas gift for my grandson, it's already installed and he loves it!

I know Garmin builds products like an ancient goverment contractor (see their avionics and DO-254 and DO-178) and the Mini 2 has all the hallmarks of a great idea that met “boomer systems engineering hell”… I’m sure they spent most of their budget on requirments and didn’t really think about what work truly needs to be done. The connections are finicky and I’m always skeptical if this is actually recording or not.

Like the size and simplicity of the camera. Could not get it to reliably sync with phone and returned it.

Works well and records flawlessly. Ive never had a dash cam before but people seem to be getting worse on the roads and I am all about the documentation. The only thing I would change would be having the ability to see the video without having the car on. Has plenty of cord so it's easy to hide the cords. Easy to install!

It does everything it should. The functionality of viewing videos is a major pain if you don’t own a computer. I haven’t found a way to watch videos on my phone off the device, even when linked.

Within a month after purchasing this product, I was already having problems with it. I called tech-support on three separate occasions and they went through every possible scenario to try to restore its functionality. The last tech said it was a faulty device and would be replaced. After she gathered all my information, at the very end, she told me that I would be getting my factory refurbished replacement within two weeks, and that I needed to send back the old one or I would be charged full price, for the replacement. My product was less than 30 days old, and they wanted me to accept a factory, refurbished piece of crap, that is unacceptable and unethical in my opinion. I told her absolutely not. I was not going to accept anything but a brand new product which I had just purchased a little over three weeks ago. She told me that it was their policy to send factory refurbished replacements. Garmin does not stand behind their product and I will not under any circumstances recommend or purchase any more Garmin products until they make this right with me. Shame on you, Garmin, shame on you! I feel taking advantage of and deceived by Garmin. Shame on you, but what do you care, you got my money and I have a defective product. Thanks a lot.!

The product works great.. when it pairs to your app. I had this mini 2 app downloaded and paired with my unit. Everything worked great until one day it wasn't paired. Very frustrating to pair it back when my Bluetooth had everything showing as it had been paired. After 30 mins of troubleshooting, I had this fixed up. I really enjoy this and find it will be very helpful if I need to save and use a video. Just make sure everything is paired periodically!
