If you don't like dangling wires, order the hardwire kit, it's not hard to install if you're even a little mechanically inclined. App syncs up easily and the live view function is really helpful.

It also would not consistently connect to the app. So I ended up returning it.

Trail camera

Did some research before selecting this one and glad I did. Using on my Ford Broncos and has an app that stores your pics or videos as you traverse the trails and never misses a beat.

Great, simple Dashcam

Bought one for the front and it has worked perfectly for about 8 months now. Easy to connect to Garmin app. This one will go in the back. Purchased a small jump start battery and plugged this into it then plugged the battery into the cigarette outlet in the back. That outlet is only on when the car is running so it won't drain the car battery and the jump start battery is more than enough to keep the camera running for a month . . .

I'm still able to view everything from the cam through my phone via app. The unit is easy to install and I had it up and running in ~30 mins.

Broke after just 9 months-no resolve

Numerous attempts to update the software and firmware in addition to contacting Garmin directly have been unsuccessful in remedying the issue. While it is good to have video of incidents, the key is to produce evidence of speed and location as well. This dashcam was not cheap but its performance is.

All Garmin Products come with a 12 month manufacturers warranty and we also have discounted exchange options outside of that period. Having said that start by visiting the Garmin Support Center page for assistance troubleshooting to resolve.
