Sometimes they don’t turn on, until 5 or 10 minutes into my drive. If I turn my vehicle off, and back on within 2-3 minutes, then neither of the cameras turn on. And it’s not that connections, nor Is it the vehicle. I should have stuck with the Rexing cameras. Those things last for ever.

DOES NOT WORK ON BMW Series 2 or X3

THIS DOES NOT WORK ON BMW 2 series or X3! This has been confirmed by Garmin. Also , told my Garmin there is no way to resolve the problem. So now Im stuck with a camera that I cannot use or return because its past the 30 day return period!

This is NOT true! Someone broke into my vehicle and it didn’t start to record until the door was slammed shut (impact), and this was after the crime occurred. NO VIDEO OF INCIDENT! WASTE OF MONEY!

Unable to setup devide

Terrible application

Hotspot also rarely works. The camera itself is ok but lacks key features.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I noticed that most of the negative reviews here revolved around: 1. The beeping is annoying. Yes, but they recently added an option in the settings to disable it. 2. You can't see license plates. Yes, you can. This camera does an excellent job at showing detail when a video is paused, there isn't any motion blur between frames like you see in other similarly priced cameras. Worst case scenario you get a partial or the vehicle is too far anyways. I like that it sits directly behind my mirror and doesn't block my vision at all. It was easy to install. The app seems a bit outdated and slow, but it's fine for that rare occasion when you'll need to pull something off. Otherwise just take the memory card out and view it on your computer. For me, it's just a "set it and forget it thing" because all I care about is having video evidence in the event of an accident.
