Fenix 5x Plus is phenomenal
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.been researching for years... then the right price came up for me...this computer in simpatico with my phone has changed my life in two weeks. Sleep, exercise (biking and hiking at 60 yo), O2, pulse, rest recommendations all have created more knowledge and balance in my life. I am shocked and amazed how great it is!

Harmon Denizot plus
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is excellent as far as timekeeping. Excellent as far as mapping. The challenge has been the altimeter. I live at the base of the sierras and my travels I enjoy knowing altitudes. GPS locations and mapping. I would enjoy keeping it all coordinated as I enjoy camping. I have calibrated on site and at home. The altitude is askew within an hour or two. If there is a fix. Let me know. Great watch otherwise.

Excellent Fitness Watch
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this watch for my husband for Father’s Day hoping he’d like it. He absolutely loves this watch. He uses it daily for workouts, walks, timers etc. He said it’s well worth the extra money versus the lower model Garmin watches. It was hard to get used to at first but once he figured out all the functions he loves it!

Best, but looking toward improvements.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Since the previous smart watch product I bought didn't do as promised, I bought this for better activities recording. Here's to hoping Garmin gets on the ball for better phone support but really they're on the top of the pack for now. Did have to buy a new band due to allergies, though I don't have reactions to other silicones, latex, etc..

They just keep getting better!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my third Garmin wearable and it still feels like the first time! The number of features is amazing and while I have not yet played with the pulse/ox features I am excited to do so! The quality and finish are nice. I do still have issues with Bluetooth dropping and difficulty re-connecting from time to time.

Great product for many purposes and occasions
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I upgraded my Garmin 5X to the Garmin 5X Plus recently. I like many features of its "activities" purpose which is similar with the 5X. For the newest function "Pulse Ox acclimation sensor" is one of my favorite which providing a reference regarding to the SpO2 functions, especially for daily inquiry of sleeping condition. Very interesting reference.

Great Smart Watch
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you are running around and if you are biking, there is an excellent smart watch to tell you all what do you need to be informed on your body, energy spent, all necessary information to improve your physical and mental health. Truly recommended product, and it worth every dollar spent on it.

Playing Music Was Inconsistent at Best
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I only had my Fenix 5X Plus for ten days before returning it. I've owned three other Garmin Forerunners starting with the 301 so I do like their products. My main reason for getting this watch was so I could listen to music without having to take my phone on runs. Watch set up and adding songs was relatively straight forward. However, I found I had to re-pair my Jabra Elite Active 65t earbuds every time I wanted to use the watch. Half the time, after trying for 15-20 minutes with no success, I gave up. Even when paired, songs would cut out when I wore the watch on my left wrist. Okay, I could get used to wearing it on my right wrist and put up with the occasional empty air when the watch went behind my back. Then one day the watch did not pair with my Garmin HRM-Run heart rate monitor, which it had previously been doing without problem. My old 920XT paired with it flawlessly so that was the last straw, I returned the Fenix 5X Plus. Garmin does have a list of "wireless" (not true wireless) earbuds on their website that they say work with the Fenix 5X Plus, but I wasn't prepared to spend even more money on any of those. I hope Garmin will figure out how to get their watch to work with arguably the best and one of the top rated true wireless earbuds on the market. I'm not sure what the issue was with the heartrate monitor, but if you buy this watch with the hopes of listening to music, check out Gramin's recommmended earbuds - hopefully they'll provide better performance than I experienced.

Love this watch
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wish it had more watch faces to download bc my eyes are bad and I can't see some of the small numbers on some of the faces but love the features on this Garmin. The Sapphire is well worth the extra cash...I've smacked it on so many things and there's not a scratch on my lens anywhere.

Watch does everything and works like a champion
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for a GPS watch for running and since I participate in OCR I needed it to be rugged. This watch was highly regarded by my friends so I thought I would give it a try. After a month, I never take it off. It has everything I would want to monitor and provides great advice on how to maximise tour training.

Love it
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used it to track miles, time, HR and course when I ride my cool recumbent trike on Los Gatos Creek trail. I've used it with other garmin products and it seems to track and record the best. I hear there's a new one out and I'm trying to same money, I can't justify the purchase just yet.

I'm in Love with a smartwatch
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awesome! Can't believe I got $200 sale on it. I love this watch for collecting lots of data. Better than other watches in the $300-399 price range. Plus great dating tip - I started making friends with others with this watch - tends to be athletic triathlon people. :D

Return to Garmin
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I moved away from Garmin to Apple to get something for everyday use....and now I have gone back to Garmin....and I am loving it. My only concern / issue is the fact that occasionally it gives me steps and stairs when I am driving...other than that I love how it feels and have always been a fan of the garmin tools

Awesome
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this one as a replacement after my regular Fenix 5 went nuts on me. So far, since December 2018, this one has been fine, minus some annoying bluetooth connectivity issues. It has been on a few backpacking trips and up a few mountains with me and really came in handy once when I went the wrong way down a trail. All in all, it's a great watch.
