Forget everything about the smartwatches
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the real smartwatch, it’s really strong and 3 weeks I do t have to charge, I don’t have to worry about scratches because nothing happening what ever you do and you don’t have to worry about sun light. The screen is not like regular screen, you can see the screen on sun light better, it’s magic!

Awesome with some compromises
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awesome watch, just missing some feaptures from previous watch, for instance: Wifi, memory 16gb and topo map. This one has only 64mb memory, just limited download options. Still testing, hope is enouch because I like the size and color. 14 days battery using gps.

Outstanding
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This watch has been awesome. It has been through many miles of walking and jogging. I've taken it through a couple of Tough Mudder and a couple of Spartan races. It has taken a beating and has been subjected to extreme temperatures and conditions. It's even showered with me to help get it cleaned after being in the mud. The battery with my settings usually lasts 3-5 days and that's with pretty significant use. It still looks and functions great after over 2.5 years of nearly daily use. I also use the Garmin Coach (Coach Jeff) to get ready for races so that was an unexpected free benefit that was a pleasant surprise. It gives me smartphone notifications during the day so I stay in touch with important events, even during meetings. My day job isn't a normal desk gig so it's seen a fair share of abuse there as well. I post a photo of wearing the watch during a race and of the small scratches through tons of abuse (considered character by me). I find I use the sleep tracker and the thing tracks my illnesses with amazing accuracy as well. The Reddit community is awesome as well. If you are looking for a no-nonsense machine to help you with training metrics, this may be a good option to consider. I'm happy with my purchase.

Best watch an active person can get
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The price is steep yes. However, it's worth every penny. With navigation, wifi, and connected to my phone my battery life is 6 days with low power mode enabled it's about 48 days. It automatically detects what workout I'm doing. Golf, running trails and many more maps available. If you're an active person this watch is a must have. If you're just looking for counting your steps this watch isnt for you. But if you are working out and want to track your progress like the type of exercise, and reps and listen to music I would recommend this watch over any other watch.

Great fitness watch for outdoor activities
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There definitely a learning curve to get the desired modes and apps on the watch and I miss a touchscreen instead of the buttons. Once set up though, GPS and maps work really well. Battery life is very good with an always on screen. Outdoor screen view-ability is excellent. The watch is big and a big heavy but kind of expected given is robust build quality and 10ATM waterproofing. Even on my small 6-1/2" wrist, it wears fairly comfortably thanks to the soft silicon strap. I can even wear it to sleep to get nighttime statistics.

Switched from Android Wear & could not be happier
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I decided to switch over to a Garmin as my every day watch from an OG Huawei Android Wear watch. I had originally worn one watch throughout the day and then used a Garmin running watch for my running/cycling workouts. I eventually added a Garmin activity tracker to get a better 24hr view of calories burned and activity. With the continued limbo that Android Wear seems to be in, it made sense to go to one watch that could do it all. I am a triathlete so the fitness tracking capabilities of the Fenix series was a big reason for my purchase. I also love the fact that I can go 5 days or so without having to charge the watch vs. every night with my old Android Wear. Some of the tracking metrics (like body battery) the Fenix offers may seem like gimmicks at first but I have found they actually are pretty close to reality. It may tell me I am not at 100% for a workout and sure enough, when I go out to start running I end up feeling a little flat. The support for different activities is great and I am yet to do something that the watch does not have a tracking mode for. Having everything tracked all in one place is great for tracking overall improvements over time and has helped me decide when to execute big training days. The watch looks great and there are plenty of watch faces to choose from and customize to your taste. As far as sapphire vs. gorilla glass - watch some youtube videos and do a little research on it. I feel like I would put a screen protector on either one so why not save a little? I have been wearing mine 24/7 since I bought it and have no scratches or wear that I have noticed. Overall, very happy I switched over to a Garmin watch.

By far the best mult-sport watch out there
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best combination of features, accurate heart rate and almost every sport functions. Battery life even using GPS is 7-8 days with very FAST USB recharging. Compatible with every known sensor and the interface with Garmin Connect is superior. Accurately tracks many human performance factors as well as sleep. Garmin support great about updating with new features and capabilities. I bought the basic Fenix 6 without maps, music or solar because they were unneeded. I use it for daily metrics and four different sports and activities.

Fantastic watch with every feature under the sun!
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After trying a few different watches, I decided the new Fenix 6 Pro was the right one after having used an Apple Watch for a few years. I’m almost completely happy...there are a few things I’d like to see changed, like the screen which isn’t nearly as high resolution as other smart watches. However this is a much more robust piece that has an extensive list of workout types and amazing battery life.

This watch is amazing
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this watch in the past and switched to an apple watch for more smart features. That lasted about 6 months until I came back. You just can't beat the battery life, build quality, and data you get from this watch. The metrics you get during exercise is great and really informative. Would highly recommend.

Exceeds expectations.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Definitely exceeded my expectations. Blows the Apple Watch out of the water and the battery time is excellent. Love the metrics and intuitive nature of the watch. My only complaint was the watch strap was causing irritation but Garmin made it right. You can also get third party straps that are pretty comfortable.

Best smartwatch I have owend
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this watch, battery life is as advertised. I am charging it every two weeks. The apps I have used so far work excellent, golf, topo maps, and a few of the exercise apps. It also works well paired with my iPhone. If it were a touch screen I would give it 6 stars.

Best Garmin watch I’ve owned
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the Fenix 5 and made the mistake of selling it for the Garmin Instinct. I sold the Instinct and purchased this Fenux 6 Pro. This is an awesome watch. Very well made, sturdy and the battery life is great. I definitely recommend and for sure you will enjoy as much as I have. Cheers!

Excellent Fitness Watch
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Fenix 6 Pro is an excellent Fitness piece. Heart rate is accurate, battery life is among the best in class. Fitness metrics are too numerous to comment on. The 47 mm piece is just the right size for my wrist. It a little pricey, but worth it.

Never Going Back to Apple
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing watch, amazing battery, esp. if you are coming from an Apple. Being in Florida, and on the water alot, knowing that this watch can take it makes it worth the price. Plus the GPS is really good.. all 3 of them.

Great Fitness Watch
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great fitness watch. Many options available and watch is very customizable. Battery life is excellent. Battery last me about 14 days when used in normal mode. GPS will shorten battery life of course.

The Garmin specs is death on. The battery life is good for 14 to 17 days for me without using the navigation. And its very comfortable

Expensive but a great device.
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love my Garmin Watch. This is the 2nd product I've had from Garmin. Overkill for most applications but I want that. Unbelievable battery life. It's not a smartwatch; I've had those. Most are a 2nd screen for what's going on in your phone. This is a fitness watch that receives notifications. They are simple and not obtrusive to what I'm doing. You can leave your phone behind for days. Almost all hardware (barometer, etc.) is on the watch so it doesn't need your phone to provide certain information.

Good watch not worth the money for me
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Loved the watch. Used it backpacking, running, weightlifting and cycling. I like the garmin app for fitness tracking. Battery lasted for quite awhile considering what it can do. Seemed like the battery wasnt holding a charge as well about 18 months in so I adjusted the power settings and it was fine for me. Negatives It had a lot of features I didn't need/use. So not sure it was worth the extra money for me. Gps/maps while hiking is hard to use on such a small screen. You might be better off with a hand held GPS if you like hiking/backpacking. Was large on my wrist but I wanted the bigger screen. Kind of heavy compared to my last watch. Only gave it 3 stars because it stopped reading hr data about 2 years in. For 700 I just think it should last longer than 2 years. Luckily I had bought the protection plan so it was covered. Best buy was great and easy to work with for replacement.

Garmin Fenix 6 Pro
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the watch for my wife. She loves it! She replaced her Apple Watch with a high end Fitbit to increase the battery life. Now this watch gives her better smart watch functionalities without sacrificing battery life. As a bonus, she is complemented on her watch all the time as well.
